THE NEIGHBORHOOD:

The neighborhood consists mostly of recreational second homes along the 8 inland lakes that are all close together in the area. It is a rather laid-back, easy-going, quiet, peaceful, and relaxing area.

Outside of the immediate neighborhood, National City is located in Iosco County just inland from Tawas Bay. It is a peaceful, nature-rich destination in Northern Michigan. It is an ideal escape for outdoor enthusiasts, offering a tranquil environment near the Huron National Forest, the Shore to Shore Trail, and the local inland lakes. There are a couple of restaurants nearby (Cast Iron Grill and Sand Lake Bar).

Villa Adonis is also conveniently located just a short 12–13 minute drive from the heart of Tawas City, offering guests easy access to a variety of amenities, dining, and shopping options. For outdoor enthusiasts, Tawas City and nearby East Tawas offer:

• Pharmacies such as Walgreens
• Local boutiques, gift shops, and antique stores

THE SPACE:

Nestled right on Bass Lake in National City, this charming and beautifully-renovated 2-level lakefront home offers everything you need for a peaceful escape or a fun-filled weekend with family and friends! First and foremost, the home has a natural gas forced air furnace to keep it cozy in the winter and it also has central air conditioning to keep it cool in the summer.

The main level welcomes you with an open-concept kitchen and living room flooded with natural light, seamlessly connecting you to stunning, panoramic lake views. Step out onto the expansive walk-out deck directly from the living room or the primary bedroom—it is the perfect place to enjoy your morning coffee or watch the sunset over the quiet water. Two comfortable, beautifully appointed main-floor bedrooms offer a restful night's sleep after a day out on the lake.

Head downstairs to discover the ultimate recreation area. Mix drinks at the well-appointed wet bar or cozy up on the sectional sofas on cooler Michigan evenings. This entertaining space walks out directly into a protected, enclosed porch and a covered patio WITH A NEW 6-PERSON LAKEFRONT HOT TUB, giving you year-round outdoor access just steps from the water’s edge. TRANSIT:

It is highly recommended that guests have their own means of transportation.


PLEASE NOTE THE FOLLOWING:

1) NO SMOKING! Smoking of any kind is strictly prohibited inside the house, but guests are welcome to smoke outside. If smoking, please make certain to pick up cigarette butts.

2) FIREWORKS: Fireworks are only allowed on the 4th of July. They are strictly prohibited at all other times.

3) BURN RESTRICTIONS: Please comply with any burn or fire restrictions that may be in place in the area. Current restrictions can be found of the Michigan DNR (Department of Natural Resources) website.

4) CAR CHARGER: There is an electric vehicle car charger at the property. Usage of it is available for $15 per day and payment must be for the entire length of the stay. Guests will need to request access and pay for this separately.

5) STAIRS: The lower level is accessible via a traditional cottage-style staircase that is a bit steeper than standard stairs. Guests should simply use the handrail and exercise normal care.

6) EXTERIOR CAMERA: Please note that there are three exterior cameras and a video door bell. There are no indoor cameras though.

7) CHRISTIAN ARTWORK: Please be aware that there is a Christian cross in the front foyer.

8) PET POLICY: Up to 2 dogs are permitted at the property. If bringing 1 or 2 dogs, please make certain that they are included on the reservation and that the pet fee is appropriately paid. Please also make certain to dispose of any dog waste. More than 2 dogs is strictly prohibited and any pets other than dogs are also strictly prohibited.

9) AIR CONDITIONING: Please note that the home does have central air conditioning to keep it nice and cool in the summer.

10) NUMBER OF GUESTS: Please note that our pricing is based upon the number of guests, with pricing being higher with each additional guest that is included on the reservation after the first 2 guests (i.e. the first 2 guests are free and there is a fee for each guest after the first 2). Please make certain that the correct number of guests is specified on the reservation so that the pricing is correct.

11) EARLY CHECK-IN: Our policy is to allow early check-in on the day of arrival if the property is available for check-in. Early check-in cannot be confirmed until the day before your arrival. Please contact our local property manager the day before or on the day of your arrival to check whether early check-in can be accommodated.

12) LATE CHECK-OUT: We maintain a very strict and structured cleaning schedule. As such, late check-outs are strictly prohibited.

13) DETACHED GARAGE: Guests are welcome to access the detached garage. Please note that the garage is reserved for storing bikes and other property items, so it is not available for vehicle parking.

14) AGE REQUIREMENT: All guests must be at least 21 years old or else accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.

15) MAXIMUM OCCUPANCY: Maximum occupancy is limited to 8 people (including both adults and children).

16) BACKYARD ENHANCEMENT IN PROGRESS: We're currently completing the final phase of our backyard landscaping to make Villa Adonis even more beautiful. During your stay, you may notice a few unfinished landscaping areas; however, there is no active construction, and all advertised amenities—including the fire pit, lakefront, dock, kayaks, and outdoor seating—are fully available for your enjoyment. We appreciate your understanding as we continue enhancing the property and look forward to providing an even better experience in the near future.
