Villa Mar y Sol is a gated historic estate on Montague Bay along Nassau's Eastern Road, 10 minutes from Paradise Island.

The main house has 6 bedrooms, 5 baths, an office with a pullout queen, a gourmet kitchen and a game room. Outside are a pool, private beach, dock and a beach cabana with full bath. Enjoy the kayak, paddleboard, new high-volume ice maker, Starlink Wi-Fi and Sonos, plus a backup diesel generator.

Sleeps 12 in beds, up to 16 guests.

Check-in is self-service. Your gate and smart-lock codes and arrival instructions are sent in your check-in message on the day of check-in, and no in-person meeting is needed. A pool service visits twice a week, landscapers once a week, and a caretaker checks on the property several times a week. Our local team is on call whenever you need anything, and the guest binder at the villa and our digital guidebook list the service schedules and local contacts.



Villa Mar y Sol sits on Eastern Road, a historic stretch along the northeast coast of New Providence lined with shade trees, colonial-era homes and tropical gardens that run down to the sea. It's one of Nassau's most sought-after residential areas, close to marinas, shops and downtown, and about a 10-minute drive from Paradise Island and Atlantis. The east end also has some of the island's best local restaurants.

Guests have the entire estate to themselves: the main house, pool, yard, beach cabana, beach and dock, along with the kayak and paddleboard.

The only exceptions are the Gate House cottage in the front yard and two owner's closets (one upstairs and one downstairs), which stay locked.

GOOD TO KNOW
The Gate House cottage in the front yard is the owner's cottage. It stays locked, and the owner or caretaker may occasionally stay there for short periods during your visit.

Taxis and private car services can take you to and from the villa, and rental cars are available at the airport and from local agencies. Nassau is easy to get around, and parking is usually simple except downtown and in the busiest tourist areas. There is free parking on site.

-The kayak and paddleboard are used at your own risk. Please wear a life jacket, stay in the bay, and bring them back to the dock or beach when you're done.
-The upstairs pergola on the beach cabana has no railing. Adults only, use at own risk!
-The pool has no fence, so children should be supervised at all times.
-If the power goes out, the backup generator turns on automatically and you may hear it running.
