The directions to get in room and the parking garage were not clear. Plus the furniture looked nice and modern but if you wanted to watch tv it was not comfortable at all. Got stuck out in the courtyard and had no way of getting back in. Luckily another person staying there came by and let us in after 15 min. Maybe we’re not suppose to go out there. It was a decent trip by Uber downtown so that was good

I was pretty disappointed with this rental given the high cost. We couldn’t access the balcony as there was a sign stating it was under construction, this also happened to be the only openable window in the apartment which we couldn’t open. There seemed to be a limiter on the temp control for the ac which wouldn’t allow us to turn it down as we wanted to. The bathroom sink seemed to be clogged as well and water would take a long time to drain leaving us to brush our teeth at the kitchen sink. It just seemed like a very expensive rental for these things to have happened, I was pretty disappointed overall as we wanted to use the balcony with the nice weather and great location.

Would not recommend. We reserved two units for 2 nights. The smaller unit smelled like it had been cleaned with a dirty mob, the ice maker was broken and leaked the entire time leaving puddles in front of the fridge, the bathroom floors were damaged and chipped. The larger unit smelled of bleach. had a broken coffee make and both units did not allow for use of the patio which meant no fresh air in our overwhelmingly odorous spaces. The building is impossible to navigate. Our electronic keys were disable 30 min prior to our check out so we were stuck outside after breakfast trying to return to our rooms to collect our items. You can’t exit the garage without your hang tag and key fob. Which means you have to leave the garage, park out front. Then return to the apartment to leave the fob and tag. You can’t exit the garage without getting out of your vehicle, walking through the pedestrian gate and waving the tag in front of the camera. Once you return the fob and tag back to the room you can’t get into either the garage to exit or through any doors to exit because you no longer a have a fob. We spent over and hour trying to leave and that doesn’t include the 20 min we were locked out of the apartment because our key tags were disable before check out. I recommend not staying here unless you have a lot of patience and don’t plan to spend much time in the apartment. The area is really cool though and the customer service line you text is very quick to respond all hours.

Basically renting an apartment in a local building. No support from staff on site. Generic apartment but comfortable. Coffee and tea, basic bathroom amenities. Not super clean ( corners w dust shower w soap scum) but not gross. Beds were very comfortable. Felt safe w building security.

Great overall experience only issue was that the bed was broken an their were things underneath the bed the parking is annoying in the complex because you have to go to the third floor parking but beside that the apartment was great the area is gorgeous peaceful the Coustmer service was great definitely understanding I would still recommend this place even though the bed was broken …. Great place to stay with Biscuit Love and Milk and Honey just outside the door. Broadway is a 15-20 min walk. Want a few groceries? The Turnip Truck is a couple blocks away. Only problem we had was our key fob didn’t work for the outside area or meeting room but there is a very nice outside space on the roof where no fob is needed.

When we booked the room, it had a nice balcony with chairs to sit and enjoy the view. On the day we arrived, we received a text that read "The building management has informed us there are some exterior repairs being made...and kindly ask you not to use the balcony." When we arrived, there was scaffolding on the exterior of the building that clearly was there for a long time. We received the text at 9:01 am, on the morning we arrived. Why did they wait to tell us about not being able to use the balcony? They clearly knew about this work back when we booked the room, two months before our stay. We felt deceived and unable to change the reservation at that time. Additionally, the room was not clean, including the floor which was sticky and needed to be vacuumed. The staff was very polite and apologetic, but we would not recommend this property.

The location is fantastic! Walkable to a lot of restaurants and great shopping and not too far of a walk to Broadway. My only complaint is the cleanliness of the apartment. The floors were extremely dirty and sticky. They were too dirty to walk on barefoot so I committed one pair of socks to wear and by the end of the trip, the bottom of them were black and had to be thrown away. It was disgusting.

Couple of things…1st night fire alarms went off for 5 minutes… smoke detector kept beeping.. I disconnected Shower door does not close all way... & shower door handle is loose. Dining room chairs do not match & are Very loose & rickety . Scaffolding ....workers & debris all over balcony.... would've be nicer to have a room on others side of building away from work & ugly scaffolding view & closer to an elevator. Balcony chair is so badly worn out... I would throw it away.

Great location!
Great location in the Gulch. Easy walking distance to Broadway. Once we did the multiple check-in steps, it was easy in-and-out. Our unit was spacious and well laid out. Other than a couple of empty spaces where there could be furniture for a more finished space, it was fine. We love Nashville and have visited numerous times in the past 2 years. We will consider Locale Lofts in the Gulch again in the future.

Excellent location near food, shops, and downtown. Our unit needed a deep cleaning (dusty fixtures and dirty vents). Fridge was not running properly and extremely loud! We are not fans of the key system used here either. But, fix the first two and I'd stay again

Great location, beautiful room. Perfect for us and our 8 months old. The only 2 issues were the bottom drawer was broken pior to our arrival and the floor weas very sticky like there was a top layer of just wax or so and as if if they have been cleaned over and over with dirty water. My baby crawled around and when inoicked her up, her onsie was sticky and dark from the floor.

I am enjoyed my stay in but I had some problems with my room. The first and most concerning, was the bed, it was a wooden platform bed and it was broken in the middle. The leg support was laying on the floor and the planks were broken. Second, the drape rod in the living room was broken on the right side, it was coming out of the wall. The curtains are also too small, they do not cover the whole width of the windows. Next, The doors that closed off the bedroom from the living room did not close correctly. Either they are too small or not in the track properly. Lastly, According to the website, there would be, " Hotel-style bath amenities", but there was only hand soap and a tiny conditioner , no body soap, or shampoo. There was very nice towels though. Overall, was a nice place, very clean, great location and safe area.

Points forts: bel appartement dans un beau quartier tranquille et sécuritaire. Toute les commodités, même laveuse sécheuse. Stationnement sécurisé pour les motos et au même niveau que l’appartement. 15 minutes de marche de Broadway. Service dépannage Telephonique rapide et efficace. Points faibles: la clef avec le iPhone est nouveau pour moi et n’a pas fonctionné mais j’ai eu le code pour key box avec carte magnétique dedans. chemin de fer derrière l’appart mais l’attend pas beaucoup. We spent 9 days in Nashville and wanted to split our experience between a couple different areas. The first few days we stayed right downtown then we moved to The Locale in the Gulch for the last 3 days. We are really happy with our choice. The location of the Locale is superb. Literally right outside the front doors is the heart of the Gulch with many fabulous restaurants and shopping and we were still only about a 15 minute walk to downtown Broadway. We had a vehicle for part of our stay and parking was easy and convient. The unit itself was everything we needed. The bed was very comfortable. The owners were quick to respond with any questions we had. The only con is we didn't find the unit exceptionally clean, especially the floors. They were dirty and sticky. After walking around for a bit in the unit our feet were very dirty. We also had some fob issues in accessing the building and garage, but that wasn't a huge deal as we were also given a entry code. We would highly recommend staying at the Locale and wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.

I travel extensively for business & this was by far the most uncleanliness I have witnessed. The freezer was completely frozen & unable to use. The washing machine didn’t work. The TV did not work. No response from the owners just a text they would look into the issues and never did. The doors didn’t shut. Found hair in places. Completely unacceptable.

Not worth the hassle
Pros: good location in a trendy area. Chat bot or whoever answers questions responds quickly. Cons: very complicated check-in and arrival process. They don't tell you this when booking through Hotels.com. It's all done through an app and text messages. Days before you have to download a key app. There were 9 steps to follow just to access the room. Parking is very difficult and it's hard to get in and out of the building. You have to park for a minute, try to access the building, go to your room, get a parking pass, try and figure out how to get out of the building, find the car, park it in a parking garage, use a key fob and app to get back in, (whew- all this while on vacation!) The unit itself is dirty and needs a deep cleaning. Lots of dust. You can hear people walking around above you. Noise from the street. The Asheville wings mural is at the entrance to the parking garage and view is an ice cream shop and Lululemon.
