Hargrove House - Charming and Dreamy Retreat on 4 acres in Leiper's Fork

...charming and dreamy, the perfect place to get away from your fast-paced world to find the things that matter most. Perfect for couples and families that want to be together, but still want some privacy - this property is impeccably decorated and one of a kind. The main house can be rented separately for a special getaway for smaller parties.

Hargrove House sits on four acres in Leiper's Fork, minutes from the Village shops and restaurants and just a short scenic thirty minute drive south of Nashville.  The property features two structures attached by a wrap around porch / breezeway and can comfortably accommodate up to eight guests.

The front house can accommodate four guests and includes a master bedroom suite featuring a king sized bed and a comfortable pull out sofa. The secondary structure can also sleep four and includes a bedroom with a queen bed, while the incredibly charming loft features two twin size beds.


You can look forward to enjoying a cup of coffee on the back porch, reading a book or relaxing outside while enjoying the beauty of the land and making s'mores over the crackling fire in the outdoor fire pit. There’s even a covered porch with a bar area! The property truly has a character all it's own.

From the spa products and local coffee, to the comfortable beds and linens, it is our hope that our guests not only create memories, but ultimately leave feeling rested, renewed and inspired.

We spent a week in this wonderful house. Beautiful area and houses are very clean and decorated nice. There were plenty of amenities in the houses for cooking meals and we cooked out on the bbq one night and sat by the fire.I couldn’t get the dryer to work and manager Sarah contacted the owner who immediately met a repair man at the house. Dryer couldn’t be fixed quickly so he went out and bought a new dryer and had it installed so we wouldn’t be inconvenienced during our stay.We will definitely stay here again!

Perfect Country Getaway

Hargrove House was so peaceful and cozy but within a couple of minutes to the quaint town of Leiper’s Fork for shopping, dining, and music. This piece of country was only 30 minutes to Cool Springs for anything you could possible want! It was truly the best of both worlds. Only problem was it was for a weekend. Next time it will be a week!!

A perfect spot for us

We had a great time at the Hargrove house. The cozy two house set up was perfect for us and our family. Loved the fire pit area and the great master bath. Just a beautiful property and one of the best VRBOs we have stayed in. It was in a great location, just what we needed for a quick getaway. Not terribly far to amenities, but far enough away from the city that we were away from the hustle and bustle. Franklin and Leipers Fork are situated in a beautiful area. Highly recommend!

Wonderful escape!

The Hargrove House was a great place to rest each night after spending 3 days exploring the region! The back house (with loft twins) is probably more suited as bunk space for kids/teens. It’s much smaller (queen bed) and lacks needed luggage/hanging space for adult couples traveling together. Unfortunately, the back patio string lights never worked for us either - but overall we enjoyed our stay!

Home away from home

This is a wonderful property and exactly what we wanted. Not far from conveniences (15 minutes) and larger city if we wanted to visit Nashville (30 minutes) but such a peaceful and restful place to visit. Fox and Locke is a great restaurant within a couple of miles so easy to grab something. The main house is great for two people or small children on the sofa bed. The second space is great if you have two couples or some older children to have their own space. It was beautiful!

Such a wonderful place to stay!

Thank you for sharing your lovely home with us. It was cozy, decorated adorably, quaint and relaxing. It was as if we stepped into our own home, so comfortable. Girls Trip

We had a great stay. Property is beautiful and we had plenty of room. The only reason I didn't give a 5 on cleanliness is we had a ton of lady bugs. They didn't bother us and not sure what can be done about them, but they were everywhere. I love lady bugs, but... Again, they don't bother you and we went about our business. It was a great trip and great stay!!!

Great Property

We enjoyed our stay. The reason we put 4 stars for the location and neighborhood was because of the neighbor dogs. We didn't hear them the first two days, and the last 3 days they barked all night long. The barking wasn't that bad in the main suite because the room was facing. The window in the attached suite with the queen size bed faced the barking dogs. Our friends left a day early because of the dogs barking all night long. Other than that, we loved the house.

Short vacation

An incredibly special place

This property could not have been more perfect for my family. My husband and I were in the main house. My son and daughter in law in the separate but attached part of the house. Sarah and her staff were immediately communicative with all questions. We requested to gain access to the property a little early, and she was very obliging. We even ran into some trouble during the second leg of our trip and requested an impromptu rental that she quickly arranged for us. All in all an excellent experience. The property is very residential but spaced very nicely from the neighbors. We only experienced what you expect in your own neighborhood, dogs barking, etc. Nothing was bothersome. It was blissfully peaceful. Early mornings on the porches were heavenly. The property was immaculately clean and well-appointed. The beds were top-notch. We all slept very comfortably. The house is situated just far enough away from everything but still close to the village, Franklin, and Nashville. It really didn't matter the distance, though, because the area is truly lovely, and every drive is pleasant. Thank you, Sarah. This was by far one of our best stays, and we hope we are welcome to stay in another of your properties soon.
