Take it easy at this unique waterfront river getaway only 30 minutes from downtown Nashville and <2 miles from a popular walking/bike path featuring a trestle bridge with fantastic views, The Cumberland River Bicentennial Trail. Enjoy the water scenes from our porches and conversation areas, the sun, the wildlife, and our private boat dock. There is a public boat launch less than 1/4 mile from our place.
Our place is on popular Sycamore Creek and just around the bend from the Cumberland River. We have a kayak and an extra long 32-inch wide paddle board, an outdoor shower, a fire pit with metal rockers, a covered porch with four rockers and a bench, and a grill-side pergola for your use.
Our home offers two comfortable living areas with sofas, and 50-inch smart tv's, featuring a king bedroom upstairs and a queen bedroom downstairs, which also boasts a nice bar for making your evening cocktails as well as a couple of Bluetooth outdoor speakers so you can stream that game you cannot miss or your favorite music as you grill steaks or shrimp from the local grocery—the perfect spot to get away from it all.
Our favorite thing is to spend time on the water, grill our dinner, and watch the boats and kayaks float by as we listen to the wildlife echo in the still night (an owl lives right across from our dock). We decompress and reenergize ourselves when we get away to the Riverhouse. You can do the same.
