A group of us came up in the off season for duck hunting. Before making our long drive, I called the office to ask about parking my truck and boat in their parking lot. The employee assured me that there would be room and it wouldn’t be a problem. When we arrived, there was 1 parking spot taken in all of the lots. At check in they told me that it would be an additional 20 dollars per day because I had an 18ft boat trailer. I told them that I already cleared it with someone on the phone, proved it and then they still charged me with the response that it’s just policy and that associate was newer. We just towed a boat for 700 miles and I would have stayed somewhere else if they would have refunded me (I requested to have a refund and they stated no). After having to pay that, they asked that I park the boat around the back of the building because they could get busy. During our trip, the parking lot had only 1 vehicle in the lot. I didn’t want to park the boat out on the other side so I had to disconnect the boat every day. Not impressed with the customer service especially when they knew very well that it wouldn’t get busy and they made me pay 20 dollars per day to park it. Also, twice we went to try and exchange towels and get toilet paper (late afternoon but before 9pm) and no one was in the office. Overall, we ARE coming back to the area next year, but this WILL NOT be our place of stay. NOT IMPRESSED
