«This place was perfect for what we needed. My brother and I came for a quick overnight stay for a not-very-fun reason. Tera was so gracious, helpful, and welcoming. The lodging is a guesthouse that Tera has put a lot of effort into furnishing so that it has everything a tired traveler might need. It felt cozy and safe. I had my best night of sleep in a long time in her place, and I will try to book it again whenever I need to be in the area.»

The hostess was rude when I tried to cancel after finding out by a colleague that this was not an ideal place since I was traveling alone and the location has no internet, cellphone signal and it’s really in the middle of nowhere. «If it weren’t for the kindness of the host, who accommodated us for an early check-in and late checkout, I would’ve given this zero stars. It’s totally rundown, looks like it hasn’t been power washed in 20 years, as soon as you walk up it smells like mold. The listing doesn’t tell you that it’s on a main street. The inside has rotting walls with actual holes, you can smell the mold and in one of the bedrooms it smelled so toxic like cat urine and chemicals - no one could sleep in there. The ...
