I would like to share feedback about my experience with the front desk.
I asked if it was possible to switch rooms, and the front desk staff spoke in a very unfriendly tone. It made me feel like I was asking for something unreasonable or trying to get a free upgrade, which was not my intention.
We are three families traveling together, and I only asked if our rooms could be in the same area. He replied that the hotel has 200 residents and said he could only check if I had 15 people. The way he spoke was very mean and dismissive.
Later, I called again to request changing from an ocean view room to a non-view room, which is a downgrade. He said he would check. When I called back about five minutes later, he said, “We just talked one minute ago,” in a very impatient and rude tone.
