Staff are very nice room was decent looking there were marks on the walls and odd dings but thats what youd expect for a family room. The only thing we didnt like with staying with toddlers there was a bunch of extension cords running across the floor and by the kids bunk bed.

Great property for what it is. The rooms are super clean. The staff is friendly. Wished the breakfast was more than just waffles and cereal but other than that, overall, not bad.

This is the third time I have stayed in the motel. Good value for a decent price. Right on the way into town. Very convenient to us.

It looks like the lower floor was in the middle of a carpet replacement / renovation. Other than that, it's about what you'd expect for one of the cheapest hotels in the area. I skipped the cold breakfast and headed to Ricky's instead (on site), you definitely get your money's worth there if you're hungry! For the price, I'd go back.

Loved the kitchenette and the continental breakfast. I was able to stay with my 2 teenage boys for 2 nights and not have to pay for any extra food. Saved myself hundred of dollars by eating what I brought from home. It was a nice weekend getaway.

There is no elevator, hot tub didnt work, leak in bathroom, free breakfast limited, missing pieces of wall and flooring

not terribly keen on the fact that the curtains don't fully close while on the ground floor, or that the air conditioning doesn't work, generally noisy property. currently undergoing some renovations.

The room was fine, but very noisy from the corridor and car park. Very worn down property, missed carpet and paint, clutter everywhere in the hallways. Poor check in, no explanation of holding deposit or breakfast for the morning.

Although the decor is a bit dated, it is very clean and comfortable. We only need to stay for the night and for the price, it was perfect. Front desk staff was polite and professional.

Was in town for business, so brought the family for a mini-getaway. The staff was all very friendly and courteous. Our room was spotless when we arrived, and check in was quick. Area in Nanaimo is not the most exciting but it's a short drive to everywhere so that did not matter, proximity to the ferry is what we wanted, which is only 10 minutes away. The restaurant [Ricky's] in the hotel was good. Food was tasty and hot when we got it, a row of tables with ocean view was nice to sit at for dinner. The pool/hot tub area was a favorite, which was a big seller for us at this location. Nice that it was open until 11. Would have been nice if the jets in the hot tub had a bit more oomph but it was hot and relaxing. Continental breakfast was what you would expect, it was decent, the muffins were really good.

I wanted a quick dinner but left with the Inn’s restaurant as the only option nearby. The dinner was fine, and the service was great, but was looking for a bit of a different experience.
