The Cawdor house was lovely! The room was very clean, the bed comfortable and the room well equipped with tea, bottled water and a strong hot shower. The innkeeper was very friendly and helpful.

This is our 2nd visit and wouldn’t dream of staying anywhere else. Such pleasant hosts and we love the lighter varied choices at breakfast, very refreshing. Home made granola very tasty Book early - popular with visiting Europeans . Nairn being such a nice area is the bonus.

Must visit this B&B
Cawdor house is full of light - and freshly decorated. It’s furnished in a good combination of period and modern. Annika and Andy are great hosts - really delightful to talk to but also aware if you don’t want to talk. The street that Cawdor House is on is 10 minutes from the Moray Forth which has golden beaches and dolphins. We have thoroughly enjoyed our visit and also the delicious and very fresh cooking. This is a haven.

Dear Guest, Thanks for your comment, unfortunately you didn’t enjoyed your stay with us. We are a 4star rated B&B. Regarding our bathrooms they are not huge because it’s an old Victorian Manse but still more than enough space for all facilities. I am sorry that a full Scottish breakfast (bacon, sausage, black pudding, haggis, grilled tomato, mushrooms, tattie scones and selection of eggs), a daily special (bacon and cheese crumpet) or Continental breakfast plus a huge selection of fresh fruit salad, cereals, yoghurts, fresh squeezed orange juice, homemade cake, bread and jam etc. wasn’t enough for you. Simply perfect - the best B&B of our journey!
Very warmly and personal welcome, the hosts support with a lot of tips. The rooms are very clean, nicely furnished and decorated as well as the whole house with the photos from Andy. The breakfast was just delicious: fresh fruits, homemade bread and jam, great choice of eggs and other Scottish dishes.

Great place!
I stayed here in July 2017. Unfortunately I arrived 45 minutes after the latest check in. They are a lovely couple and were very friendly despite me missing the check in time. The house is very nice, super clean, and breakfast was excellent. I stayed at several other b&b's in Scotland and this was by far my best experience. Thanks!

Friendly and convenient
We arrived at little early but we're still welcome. We were recommended the classroom for an evening meal and it worked out well. Parking was easy right outside. Room, clean, adequate and good value. Breakfast very good in comparison to other websites stayed at.
