Nydelig hotell med noen serviceutfordringer
Nydelig hotell. Stort, komfortabelt rom med flott utsikt over hagen og den eldste delen av bygningsmassen. Badet virket litt nedslitt. Nydelig anlagt hage. Servicen var tidvis ikke optimal. Vi ble tatt imot av en ikke spesielt hjertelig resepsjonsmedarbeider da vi ankom, og da vi skulle sjekke ut, opplevde vi at den som stod i resepsjonen tok imot en telefonsamtale mens hun holdt på å ekspedere oss. Under måltidene virket det som at personalet hadde utfordringer med å kommunisere med hverandre og å servere det som ble bestilt. Ut over dette møtte vi hyggelig personale, også i resepsjonen og under afternoon tea. Personalt i baren der vi tok et—par drikkeenheter var eksepsjonelt hyggelige og profesjonelle. Flott beliggenhet i rolig, landlig område, med kort avstand til Dublin.

Flott gammelt herskapshus/slott med særegen atmosfære. En flott hage og med tilgang til treningsfasiliteter og svømmehall.

Gammelt flott hotell
Bodde på hotellet to netter. Rommet var noe gammelt og slitt, men rent. Restauranten var veldig bra. Gjester har tilgang til et flott treningssenter med basseng (25m) og helsestudio (kjempestort med alt utstyr). Dette lå ca 200m fra selve hotellet.

Great place to stay! Very friendly place. Elevators to rooms takes a minute to figure out and the pool is in a separate building. Those items are not hard to figure out, but should be noted. Food was excellent. Recommend the aged steak and chicken wrap in the Oak and Anvil. Solid old fashioned too. Will come again if we travel back to Ireland.

Absolutely LOVED this place. Such a gorgeous property, the restaurants were incredible. The amenities and spa were also great. Cannot wait to come back!

First off the hotel & property itself are lovely. Room was average, food at restaurants was good but significantly overpriced. Elevator was broken our entire stay, housekeeping didn’t show up at all one day & the pool/hot tub is open to the public. Overall I’d call it good, not sure I’d recommend though.

We enjoyed our stay. Note to North American travellers. Be sure to check the fitness centre hours as the pool closed earlier than expected. Thankfully we were there with enough time for our children to enjoy the pool.

Es war ein tolles Erlebniss in einem alten Gutshaus mit dem erhaltenen Flair zu übernachten. Der Service war immer Hilfsbereit. Teilweise etwas hellhörig wegen der dünnen Türen.

This is a beautiful hotel. We only stayed for one night. We would’ve loved to of stayed longer, but our plans had changed. I would highly recommend this hotel. It was a great value and had huge rooms. The staff was pleasant and the breakfast was delicious.

Great Hotel close to Dublin
Super Hotel, facilities were amazing, but it was the 27th of December and it was very busy with families, so not as quiet as we had hoped, but we could not fault the hotel.

Amazing hotel, so nicely decorated and lovely relaxing vibe! Room was spacious and comfortable and clean, few stains on bed sheets. Dyson hairdryer and Nespresso machine in room which was a lovely perk. Elemis products in bathroom. Amazing breakfast and had lovely dinner and drinks in oak and anvil restaurant/bar. Lovely garden and walks on the grounds. And lovely patios outside. About 20 min drive from Kildare village

The hotel was very loud. The dining experience was unpleasant due to children on iPads with the volume loud, a sound system with unrecognizable sounds, children crying and people speaking very loudly. We spent over 100 euro in a Mac Donald environment. Our room was in the family wing because we had a 15 year old with us-I am assuming. We had children trying to open our room after we retired to bed. We were very excited to book at the hotel but felt we paid way too much for the experience. I would not recommend this hotel.

The food was lackluster for the environment but the grounds surrounding the hotel made up for any shortcomings in the meals. Excellent gardens both in design and upkeep!
