Smokey Mountain Dreaming - mountain views, hot tub & much more!!

AMAZING VIEWS of Mountains and the Hiwassee River at this beautiful family cabin. 3 Bedrooms and 3 Bathrooms offer lots of space for everyone to enjoy everything with this cabin. The large great room is cozy with the red leather furnishings, wood burning fireplace, dining room table that seats 8 and spacious kitchen with everything you need to make dinner or a quick snack. Also on the main floor is a large bedroom with King size bed plus a twin bed, TV and doors that lead out on the covered porch. A full bath along with washer/dryer area is also on the main floor. Upstairs is the perfect spot to catch up on some emails or read a book. The second bedroom and bathroom is upstairs with a Queen bed, TV and doors that lead out onto a private open balcony. Make your way downstairs to another family room with TV, 3rd bedroom with two Full size beds, full bathroom and a bonus room that offers a set of twin bunk beds - perfect for those extra guests. As much as the inside of this cabin is relaxing...you'll fall in love with the outdoors here! Lots of decking to enjoy the breathtaking views. Plenty of room for the whole family with a covered outdoor kitchen, porch swings, tables and a hot tub! But it does not end there, want a taste of the mountain life? A chicken coop is here so you can gather your own fresh eggs every day! Fire pit area with picnic table is a great way spend the afternoon while roasting marshmallows and catching up with family. There's also a place for the smaller kids to play in the "treehouse" just off the main house and wanting some peace and quiet...a place to read, reflect or getaway from everyone...go down to the private chapel!

Beautiful location! The view was amazing. We really enjoyed the chickens and wildlife we saw. The hosts were so nice and welcoming. There is so much to do in the general area. Would definitely recommend staying here!

My Family's Thanksgiving

The house was awesome so much room. My Father loved the fire place and grandkids love the chickens and the play house. While me and my husband really enjoyed the hottub and outside Tv. Over-all a wonderful Vacation!!

Men getaway

The house was great plenty of room and the deck was great. The views are fantastic and fresh eggs from the chickens were great. We will be back to this place in the future. Owners live right down the street and very nice people. Thank you for letting us stay at your house.

Great location and plenty of space

We loved this cabin. There was plenty of space for everyone to spread out and have their own area if needed. There’s plenty nearby to do and see. A drive to Highlands offers 4-5 waterfalls to stop and see; there’s gem mining in the Franklin area; Murphy has some great stores for souvenir shopping; Bryson City is close for your better hiking and rafting needs. Plan to return!!

Amazing stay

Beautiful cabin

This property was amazing! The home is nice and large. The added features outside the home were very nice and having the chickens with fresh eggs in the morning was such a bonus! The views from the balcony were so pretty, especially the morning we woke up with a cloud layer in the valley below us. We would definitely stay here again!

Murphy Vacation

My family and I had a great vacation staying in this cabin/house. 10 of us occupied this cabin and had plenty of space for privacy as well as gathering together. My grandkids loved feeding the chickens everyday and gathering fresh eggs! We enjoyed time at the fire pit making s’mores! The view from all levels was beautiful and was able to see herds of deer daily. The only complaint would be one wall by windows had cobwebs with moths and dust built up that went from the floor to about 6ft up the wall, some dirt built up in the corners of the floor throughout the whole house and the back splash/wall in the kitchen had food or things all over it. My grandkids feet/socks were black from walking in the house. The good definitely outweighed the bad we just feel more comfortable in a clean and tidy home! Nonetheless we created lots of great memories and appreciated this opportunity!

Great place but a bit outdated

This was a great place with plenty of room for a large group. We really enjoyed the outdoor kitchen and decks and hot tub. The views were spectacular and it was a short drive to town. The only negative was the outdated TVs. I think every room had a tv but they were all old and did not work properly. The only one that was a more recent model was in the basement and the remote was missing. The main tv in the living room wouldn’t connect to the internet and the outside hot tub tv just kept shutting off randomly. This would not have been a big deal but we were really hoping to enjoy the house and watch football on a Saturday but were unable to because of the dismal television situation so we were forced to go to town. Great place but definitely needs a technological upgrade. Beds were not great either but amazing views and outdoor amenities.

Beautiful !!

We loved this property as well as we LOVED the property owner. So attentive to detail and so kind. He made sure to take care of us and go above and beyond anything we ever asked ! We saw wildlife on the road leading up to the cabin everyday . The hot tub was cleaniest we ever experienced. As well as you literally can not beat the views!!! We will stay here again .

Amazing views and more!

We had never been to North Carolina and didn’t know what to expect but WOW! I wanted to be “remote” but still close to a town. This place was perfect. The house have plenty of rooms for privacy as well. The lower level has a livingroom, bathroom, & 2 bedrooms so our kids had that area. The main floor has a bedroom nicely hidden then the upstairs has a bedroom, bathroom and a nice seating area so 3 couples could each get their own private areas and bedrooms. PLUS, there are 3 levels of deck and everyone gets a door going out. The hot tub was awesome AND an outdoor kitchen. The town of Murphy is awesome and the people are as well. The first weekend of the month the block off downtown for a festival. Arts, food, ect. and lots of stuff for kids. I’ve been a lot of places and this place is one of the best! The view off the deck is just stunning. Hiking is very close and some of the best trails.
