Our cabin is surrounded by the Nantahala National Forest and borders the US Forestry Service Area, making it secluded, peaceful, and majestic! It is just a short walk from Lake Hiwassee, abundant with fish and wildlife. Enjoy the outdoors sipping coffee or hot cocoa from the screened-in porch. Grill on the patio while watching the sunset. Sit around the fire pit, making s’mores and enjoying wine. Centrally located are the boat ramp, marina, dam, Historic Murphy, and Historic Blue Ridge.

Stay for a few nights or settle in for a full week. A Majestic Mountain Getaway is more than a place to sleep, it's a home base for exploring the small towns, lakes, forests, waterfalls, shops, antiques, restaurants, and mountain roads of western North Carolina and North Georgia.

Spend one day on Lake Hiwassee, another browsing antiques in a charming mountain town, another hiking to a waterfall, and another doing absolutely nothing but enjoying the porch and fire pit. With so much to explore within a scenic drive, you can create a getaway that's as adventurous or as relaxing as you want.

The cabin is tastefully decorated to truly immerse yourself in the experience. The cabin sits on a fairly level acre, allowing guests to enjoy the backyard.

The cabin has fiber Internet! Each bedroom includes a 43-inch TV for cozy evenings after a day of exploring, while the living room boasts a 55-inch TV. All TVs come with over 190 DISH channels, and guests can stream services through their own accounts. Slow down and reconnect with a selection of board games, books, and indoor/outdoor activities. There is a selection of books to read cozied up in bed, by the fireplace, on the screen-in porch, or by the fire pit.

The cabin is centrally located in the Appalachian Mountains and close to lots of fun spots like local dining restaurants, historic downtowns (Murphy, Blue Ridge, Helen, and Blairsville), Lake Hiwassee (trails, fishing, boat ramp, marina, and dam), recreation areas and trails for hiking, six waterfalls, Harrah's Cherokee River Valley Casino, Nantahala Outdoor Center, gem mining, stables, farms, breweries, wineries, and much more.

Guests have the entire cabin to themselves. Guests will have easy access to the cabin via a smart lock; the code is sent to guests on the day of their arrival and expires at check-out.

Guests will have convenient private parking for up to two vehicles in the flat, leveled driveway.

There are 3 owners' closets, a garage, and a shed that guests do not have access to.

Local utility crews typically respond quickly. We cannot provide refunds for issues arising from cell phone service, TV, Internet performance, or power outages. Firewood is not guaranteed for your stay, so we recommend picking some up locally if you plan to use the fire pit. You’re also welcome to gather and use natural materials from the yard, such as twigs, sticks, pine cones, and leaves, for a cozy, rustic fire experience.
