Our cabin is surrounded by the Nantahala National Forest and borders the US Forestry Service Area, making it secluded, peaceful, and majestic! It is just a short walk from Lake Hiwassee, which is abundant in fish and wildlife. Enjoy the outdoors, sipping coffee or hot cocoa from the screened-in porch. Grill on the patio while watching the sunset. Sit around the fire pit, making s’mores and enjoying a glass of wine. Centrally located to the boat ramp, marina, dam, Historic Murphy, and Historic Blue Ridge.
The cabin is centrally located in the Appalachian Mountains and close to lots of fun spots like local dining restaurants, historic downtowns (Murphy, Blue Ridge, Helen, and Blairsville), Lake Hiwassee (trails, fishing, boat ramp, marina, and dam), recreation areas and trails for hiking, 7 waterfalls, Harrah's Cherokee River Valley Casino, Nantahala Outdoor Center, gem mining, stables, farms, breweries, wineries, and much more.
The cabin is tastefully decorated to truly immerse yourself in the experience. The cabin sits on a fairly level acre, allowing guests to enjoy the backyard.
The cabin has fiber Internet! Each bedroom features a 43-inch TV, while the living room boasts a 55-inch TV. All TVs come with over 190 channels from DISH, and guests can stream services through their own accounts. There are tons of games available to play in the living room, screened-in porch, or yard. There is a selection of books to read cozied up in bed, by the fireplace, on the screen-in porch, or by the fire pit.
Guests have the entire cabin to themselves. Guests will have easy access to the cabin via a smart lock; the code is sent to guests on the day of their arrival and expires at check-out time on the day of their departure.
There is parking for two cars on-site, located in a flat, leveled gravel driveway.
There are 3 owners' closets, a garage, and a shed that guests have no access to.
Cell service is not guaranteed at our mountain cabin. If your phone has Wi-Fi calling, enable it after connecting to the cabin’s Wi-Fi to make phone calls.
Please be advised that due to the cabin's remote mountain location and the surrounding forested environment, there is a natural risk of falling trees, particularly during high winds or storms. In rare cases, this may result in temporary electrical outages if power lines are affected. While such occurrences are uncommon, they are possible, and we encourage guests to plan accordingly by bringing fully charged devices and being prepared for brief power interruptions. Local utility crews typically respond quickly. We cannot provide refunds for issues arising from cell phone service, TV, Internet performance, or power outages.
