Downtown

Come stay in One of four apartments in a small building located right at center of Munising. This is a second floor apartment. Walk to bars, restaurants, coffee shops, Dairy queen, auto store, drug store. We have a private off street parking lot with a reserved space for you. The apartment has all the basics you need to feel comfortable, easy to find, safe, and always very clean, pots and pans dishes and silverware,utensils we provide towels and bedding and the basic hand and dish soap, just bring your own bathing soaps. Watch your fav shows on smart tv and YouTubeTV cable channels. Free Wifi and keyless entry so you never get locked out. Multiple fans and a portable a/c in each bedroom to keep you cool. Seating for 4 in kitchen. One futon and one couch in living room give you enough comfy seating. The futon is a full size bed perfect for the kids and bedding is in linen closet for futon as well. Bathroom has full tub with shower that has a pull down handle. Coin operated washers and dryers in lower level laundry room of building.
The building is centrally located and you can walk to the cruise boat and rest in a clean Apt after your hikes. Restaurants and all gift shops nearby walk in the downtown. 4 adults max. kids 15 and under. Total of 6 guests max, 4adults 2 kids. Please list correct number of guests to avoid cancellation. No smoking anything includes vapes in or on property and no pets please.
We offer discounts when booking more than one Apt inquire first to get multi Apt discount. Come stay and become one of our return guests year-round. No snowmobile trailers per city ask about alternate parking.

We made this booking at the last minute when our previous booking fell through just a day and a half prior to our departure date. We're so glad we found Amanda and Chad's place. We do a lot of traveling around the Michigan coastline, and this was the most comfortable, pleasant place we've stayed in yet. Amanda was congenial, and full of great information about the area. We got a big kick out of the fun-loving patrons at the next-door Barge Inn; especially on Friday night when they had karaoke - all the singing and laughter made us laugh, too. We really enjoyed being within walking distance to the Munising waterfront and restaurants, and easy driving distance to many of the wonderful places in the area. We would definitely love to stay again.

Nicely updated apartment

Kitchen is well equipped. Bathroom nicely updated with great water pressure. Comfortable beds. Assigned off street parking. Upstairs unit accessed by step stairs. Pub nextdoor.

Great location, but if you are an early bird, this is not the place for you. The Barge Inn next door is a lovely establishment, but very loud in the evenings. The place had everything we needed, the beds were comfy, and it was walking distance to food & shopping, as well as being close to Pictured Rocks.

Nice stay

It's a older apartment building they rent out certain apartments and vrbo others. The laundry is shared coin laundry in the basement of the building. They did have laundry soap and dryer sheets availble for use. They don't have a pasta pot or a baking dish, so we picked one up at the store. They had lots of towels and bedding. Wifi wprked great. Would stay there again, great location!

Chasing Waterfalls

We traveled to the area to chase waterfalls and see the Pictured Rock! The property was exactly as pictured. This unit is upstairs but easily accessible with hand rail. Very clean. Comfortable beds. Quiet neighbors. The town is walkable. Perfect stay!

Munising vacation

We were staying in Munising to enjoy Pictured Rocks and the many waterfalls in the area. We Adlai took the shipwreck cruise. We lived that the place was within walking didst distance of the Pictured Rocks tour, stores, restaurants, and the Dairy Queen. We had a very pleasant stay and will remember this the next time we're up this way.

The rental itself was very clean and new, but there were issues. The keypad lock was fickle and (after checking and double checking that it was locked on our way out) we came home to an unlocked house once in our 2-day stay. The walls are paper thin. You can hear music from the bar that is right next door. I’m sure other neighbors could hear my baby crying from being woken up over and over. The building itself is very old and dilapidated and sketchy looking. The pillows are awful. Aside from the noise from the bar, the location is great, the place was spotless, the price is fair and we had a great stay in Munising.

Clean, spacious and convenient

We loved our stay at this property. It is situated in walking distance to the Pictured Rocks cruise, which also means it's central to a lot of the activities you may want to do, including hikes, beaches, and a little farther away places such as Marquette. The place looked like it was recently updated, was clean and spacious for our needs. We would book again.

Our stay

The apartment was nice and clean. I was not happy with the bar next door and the nightime music. If I would have had younger children I would not have been happy. Also some warnings about the 9 oclock siren that scared my kids would have been nice.

Great spot

The apartment was very clean and comfortable. The location was walkable to everything in town, and it had dedicated parking. The location was a quick drive to many Pictured Rocks trailheads. There was a great coffee shop 2 blocks away (Gallery Coffee). There were several small restaurants, delis, and pasty shops nearby. We liked Tacopatomous, the Fish Basket, driftwood Deli, and Miners Pasty Kitchen. Saturday night live outdoor music at the bar next door was loud, but it was only the one night and ended promptly at midnight. The owners were easy to reach and very responsive. We enjoyed our stay!
