This property is centrally located. Very clean and modernly presented. You are supplied with all essentials including milk. The one toilet is an issue if you have six guests though but apart from that its fabulous 👌

Mudgee early in the week
We easily found the place with instructions given. Darling house with striking red door Very clean and well set up. Did not cook but kitchen equipped to do so. Very comfortable and walking access to town. I did not realize that the town and restaurants only come to life later in the week! We did manage some cheese and wine tasting in the vineyards that were open, set in magnificent countryside Next time will do some homework. No fault of the house. Cosy and perfect

Gladstone Cottage is a delightful cottage. Our stay was very comfortable, with all the amenities we could ask for. The walk to pubs, restaurants and shops was short and pleasant. Easy and very helpful communication with our host.

Cottage was exactly like posting and we were very happy with everything. Had all we needed and walking distance to the heart of town. Our first visit to the region and loved it. Would recommend this cottage to family and friends and would return there

Good value for money. Clean and tidy. Especially appreciated the extra bits provided like shampoo, conditioner and body wash among other essentials. Early start for local miners staying close by was a bit unexpected but everyone works for a living right?

A lovely property, very clean and plenty of natural light. Would definitely stay here again. Backyard was an added bonus and property stocked with generous supply of kitchen/dining ware. The only drawback was having only one toilet.

Nice place, but avoid in winter.
I think we would’ve enjoyed our stay at Gladstone Gables more in summer. The only heating is the air conditioner which guests are asked to leave at 23 degrees. This is entirely inadequate for a high-ceilinged old brick house in the middle of winter. We were made aware in advance that the fireplace was purely decorative, but having a fire would’ve made such a difference - the TV/sitting room is totally the reverse of cozy on a cold night! We were also surprised that the bedding consisted of a summer-weight polyester-filled quilt, though fortunately we found a blanket in the wardrobe. If you’re coming in winter, include a hot water bottle in your packing! The bathrooms and toilet are basic but OK (though more places to hang towels would be an advantage) and the kitchen is fairly well equipped. All up Gladstone Gables is clean, the beds are comfortable, and it is an easy, level walk to the town centre. Just don’t stay in winter if you feel the cold!

3 of us met in Sydney and drove too Mudgee for a few days celebrating my birthday. Great location, with so many fabulous boutiques, wineries and historical towns. The house was perfect for 3 people, with extremely comfortable beds and pillows. Could have done with more blankets as no electric blankets in the bedrooms. The kitchen had enough crockery and glassware for catering, and the bathroom was equipped with fluffy towels, face washers and body wash, shampoo and conditioner. Overall we had a fantastic time, and would highly recommend this property. We will certainly be back.

Property worked well for our needs. Outdoor area and yard was small and inviting. 2 rooms great. 2 quite small. (Fan not working in one room) Bathrooms a little tired but met our needs. Would stay there again.

Just as Advertised
Gladstone Gables was a delightful property. It was cosy and surprisingly light. I did not expect this from an older style home but the owners have furnished and decorated the place, inside and out, to make it a very comfortable stay with everything one could need for a few days away. It is walking distance to all the shops, cafes, etc and it definitely is our go to accommodation on our next trip to Mudgee.

We stayed in this lovely house for a few days while we explored the wineries and Mudgee. The house was very clean and had everything we needed including a bbq. It has been beautifully decorated and little touches around the house made it feel like home. The owners were quick to respond to any questions we had. I would highly recommend this house if you are coming to Mudgee.
