«We really enjoyed our stay. Staff was attentive, room was clean and quiet, parking easy, bar was limited on drinks but what they had was perfect for us. We enjoyed the music on the patio and the view of the river. The mattress was super comfortable with a soft mattress topper. Will stay again next time we are in the area. »

«Every thing was clean, attractive and comfortable. The towels were thick and the bathrobe was very nice. My only complaint is parking. There is only street parking and during the hours that you have to pay at the parking meters you have to pay every 3 hours. You can do this with an app. I parked about 4 blocks from the hotel and later, after dinner, I was able to park only a block away.»

And the worst part is I only stayed 1 day! I had never imagined that a Best Western Hotel could have an upscale hotel but I was wrong!! Great Job!»

«What a gem in the heart of downtown The Dalles! Our room was spacious, quiet, exceptionally clean, a super comfy bed and had a stunning black and white tiled shower. Very cool! Although the hotel was finishing a big remodel, it did not disrupt our stay in any way. The staff was friendly and helpful and made sure we had everything we needed. I would rebook here in a heartbeat!»

«This property is noisy—all hall noise (there was plenty with young kids running around and slamming their room doors until 11:30 P) was heard plus some rooms are close to an interstate on-ramp, so engine acceleration heard.No full room darkening curtains so light from cars on that ramp was bothersome. Breakfast was ok. At checkin the hotel clerk said my room number out loud so others in the lobby heard it—that’s been a no no for years now. No elevator which was stated in the description, but ...
