«The lush property is full of flowers, shrubs and beautiful trees. Very well maintained. There are several areas to sit outside and enjoy the views of the river, which often is filled with wind surfers. It is convenient to town which has many nice shops and a number of good restaurants. We think the best for dinnner (which is also reasonably priced) is Three Rivers. Riverside is also excellent. Bette's is fun for breakfast and there are many good casual, burger and pizza joints. «Every thing was clean, attractive and comfortable. The towels were thick and the bathrobe was very nice. My only complaint is parking. There is only street parking and during the hours that you have to pay at the parking meters you have to pay every 3 hours. You can do this with an app. I parked about 4 blocks from the hotel and later, after dinner, I was able to park only a block away.»

«Booked through Expedia. Selected incorrect date. Realized 1 minute after hitting submit. Tried to cancel and both Expedia and Best Western said I could NOT cancel, despite the “booking” being 1 minute old. Did not get to use the room, but was charged for it. Terrible customer service by both businesses. Total nonsense!»

«What a gem in the heart of downtown The Dalles! Our room was spacious, quiet, exceptionally clean, a super comfy bed and had a stunning black and white tiled shower. Very cool! Although the hotel was finishing a big remodel, it did not disrupt our stay in any way. The staff was friendly and helpful and made sure we had everything we needed.
