«Wir blieben auf der Durchreise vom Kruger NP in die Drakensberge eine Nacht in Ermelo. Das sehr günstige Zimmer war überraschend groß, sehr stylish mit langem Durchgang zum Bad, schwarzen Steintafeln an den Wänden... «We had a marvellous time at Caracal Lodge. It was a wonderful away from it all experience. Magtree Cottage was very comfortable and well equipped even though there is no electricity, power being supplied by gas appliances, paraffin lamps and LED lighting. It was magical to wake up with views of the resident giraffe family as well as zebra, impala, horses and a pet pig! Outside there was a braai, fire pit in a lovely shaded area and a small pond. «We spent two very enjoyable days at this very special lodge. Our host Issabella was first class and looked after us as if we were family.The whole place is beautiful and the bird life is prolific.There are two very lovely guest lodges and a fun safari tent with its own out side toilet and shower facilities.You must phone before you arrive as the gate will have have to be opened for you and then there is a track drive to the main lodge and a further couple of kms to the guest lodges.
