We were excited about this cabin because it checked all of our boxes — reasonable price, pet-friendly, hot tub, and fireplace — and it had many positive reviews. Unfortunately, our stay ended up being a bit of a mixed experience.The owners have clearly put effort into making the cabin feel cute and homey, but there are so many decorative items and personal touches throughout the space that there is very little room for renters’ belongings. In particular, the kitchen has almost no usable counter space for food prep, so we found ourselves using the dining table instead.The hot tub was hot, but the water was not very clean, and there appeared to be a missing component that caused water to overflow onto the deck, creating a column of frozen water beneath it. The jets were also operating at what felt like a fraction of their normal strength. This was disappointing, as the hot tub was one of the main reasons we booked the property.The fireplace functioned well, but even on its lowest setting it overheated the living area quickly, making it difficult to regulate the temperature comfortably.On the positive side, the master bedroom bed was very comfortable, and the couch and chair were also great for relaxing. The internet was excellent, and the three televisions were exceptional. The price was very reasonable, which helps offset some of the shortcomings.With a bit of decluttering, improved hot tub maintenance, and some minor changes, this could be a very comfortable rental
