Reasonably new hotel so rooms are ok. However, there was very limited tolileries provided, limited linen , no TV remote and room safe was permanently locked… also don’t bother with breakfast option… basically you get what you pay for and it was one of the cheapest options in the area.

Vi bodde 3 nätter och sängarna var sköna. Personalen tog fram solstolar när vi bad om det. Mycket god mat i restaurangen, speciellt fried rice, stora portioner. Wifi, som vi behövde, fungerade bara i ett par timmar den första kvällen efter att en mycket snäll kille från receptionen tålmodigt hjälpte oss, resten av tiden fungerade tyvärr inte wifi. Det var 4 strömavbrott under vistelsen då personal kom och hjälpte till att få tillbaka strömmen. All personal var mycket trevlig, tillmötesgående och hjälpsam. Speciellt stort tack till den unge, studerande killen i receptionen och managern för all hjälp!

it's really not a bad hotel. It's location is on the main road. For us this was, probably, a good thing. For someone on a beach holiday, it wouldn't be good. Our room (709) was a large, comfortable suite with two toilet rooms. We had a nice view of Colombo city from one side and of the sea from the other side. The hotel was quite dead, however, and it was, sometimes, difficult to find staff people sometimes. However, our housekeeper was friendly and wonderful (though sometimes not available, too). The worst thing, and it is quite abysmal, is the internet service. It's totally inadequate for guests anywhere. It's a shame that they are using this antiquated system at a quite new hotel.

Agréable séjour
J’ai passé un bon séjour dans l’ensemble, l’hôtel est très récent donc en très bon état, la chambre est bien équipée, spacieuse et propre, lit king size, mini frigo, bouilloire et 1L d’eau offert, renouvelé tous les jours. Le personnel est aimable et disponible. L’hôtel est relativement assez calme. Mais pas mieux isolé que les autres, on entend parfois ses voisins indélicats, comme la tv à fond à 6h du mat … Le petit déjeuner inclus dans mon cas était très correct, parfois, c’est un buffet très complet, avec au menu plats « continentaux » et locaux, café/thé, toasts, fruits, soupe et légumes ! Ce qui dommage, c’est que se sont toujours les mêmes plats au fil des jours. Parfois, c’est eux qui vous proposent en entre deux choix (local ou continental) et viennent vous le servir, c’est moins convivial, mais reste correcte. Encore faut-il qu’ils vous amènent ce que vous avez demandé, car cela semble tout préparé à l’avance et c’est pour tout le monde pareil …

Courteous staff, great buffet for breakfast, prompt attention to services were amongst the good things noted. We noted that the cups and cutlery after use were washed in the room which is not a hygienic way of washing.

Modern goed onderhouden hotel met goede faciliteiten. Vriendelijk en behulpzaam personeel. Goede front Office receptie bereikbaar . Goede gratis WiFi Helaas wegens weinig bezetting van kamers werd er geen ontbijt buffet geserveerd. Wel kon je kiezen standaard westers of sri lankees ontbijt Westers fruit, ei en toast wel goed verzorgd. Meest prettigst is dat er goede beveiliging bij het hotel is.

The staff are genuine and lovely in their work but they aren’t professional. I arrived close to midnight so I understand it was an unusual time but it took 20 minutes to check me in when all I wanted was a bed and sleep. I was also to have a sea view according to the booking but I woke up to a wall and saw a slice of the sea to me left. Please dont mislead with descriptions.

Excellent staff
we were there during a time of political uncertainty. The hotel staff was extra nice to us and was very caring. The security at the hotel was good. they checked every guest that went in. The hotel was fairly well equipped with a gym and a fabulous Spa. The toiletries on sale were very good and were reasonably priced. location was good and central and served our purpose. it was reasonably close to the Mt. Lavinia beach for anyone who wanted a swim in the sea to walk. the hotel was clean and the house keeping was good.

Modern hotel using up to date technology but profiteering is the main motive.Air conditioning is put off at midnight to save on electricity expenses perhaps causing great discomfort in midst of sleep.Room amenities are refilled in a miserly fashion.In fact no replenishments after 3pm with the alebi of Housekeeping staff having left for the day.(as if the staff carry supplies with them home)

The air conditioning- room temperature was not controllable. It was 20.6 C when I occupied. The technician who came to adjust it could not not control the temperature. At the end I switched off air conditioning. The same applies too hot water. I had to open all taps for a long time to get hot water which made me feel guilty of wasting water.

オーシャンビューの部屋でも1番最上階の7階の部屋は屋上のジャグジーの音がうるさいです。7階は避けた方がいいと思いますが、土日の昼間に居ない方は夜我慢すればいいかも。

Our first room had an ocean view from a couple of blocks away. The toilet began to leak on the floor. We moved to a second room where the only way we could get the AC to shut off was to manually turn it off. The food at the restaurant was decent.

Best hotel I've stayed at in Sri Lanka. Very clean and modern. Good attention to detail like towels in the gym and at the pool. Excellent breakfast buffet. The only bad thing i could is if you shower outside of peak hours it takes awhile to get hot water. 5 stars.

There is a need to attend to so routine maintenance to keep the showers looking clean. Also there needs to be some attention to detail relation to Health and Safety eg a rail to assist you getting in and out of the pool. There is a lack of soft seating around the pool. The breakfast is average would like to have seen more whole meal bread for toast and more choice of fruit and yogurt. At times we experienced difficulty in communicating In English.

No room service, food hours are limited with very limited menu. No consistency in food, first time you order something and if you like it and repeat the same order next time you will experience different taste and very disappointing. But people and staff are very nice. We cut down our stay from 7 to 2 days and the front office manager was extremely helpful in sorting out things.

Very little communication prior to check in, and when my questions were answered I was given the wrong information. Had to arrange my own airport pickup when I landed, when they said they had already done this. When I asked to do the same for my sister, the cost of the pickup was far too high and in the wrong currency to the what they had stated in the messages. Also booked a ocean view room, which after finally sorting - turned out to be blocked by construction anyway. Very disappointing

When we entered the room, there was a foul smell. It was only next day we found a dead pigeon in the balcony. It looked as of it was there for a few days. The Air Conditioner was not working in the room and it took about 45 minutes after check in for it to start. The next day also the light only of our room went for half an hour. Inspite of all these issues being mentioned at time of check out there was absolutely no concern shown.
