I was honestly very shocked with this hotel. Most of the reviews that I read were pretty good. We stayed here for one night after visiting our daughter in college and the room smelt awful like it was a smoking room at one time, and though it is not now, it still smelt bad. The toilet bowl was loose on the ground, so if you were sitting on it and maneuvered your body the wrong way, at all it would potentially tip over. The rooms look like they were remodeled, but the smell took away from the work that had been done. The bedding looked clean and we didn’t see anything noticeable, but they just didn’t smell clean. Almost like the room hadn’t been used in a while and it’s been the same bedding. I wouldn’t even say that it’s a good place If you’re just passing through, for one night, because it wasn’t. It’s a shame, because the staff were very nice and helpful, just the hotel definitely needs more work.
