Called prior to check in regarding the swimming pool hours. They implied the staff was just a little late getting the pool opened that morning. I asked, Is it going to be closed for the next 2 days? The answer was “no”. The receptionist was lying. It was closed “for cleaning” for the entire two day stay. When I asked to extend the stay for another night, housekeeping kept disturbing me trying to get into the room. In between slamming the door of the room next door so many times it was mind blowing. I called reception asking them to tell housekeeping I was staying on so they would stop disturbing me. Their response: I did. Same woman who lied about the pool. No help at all. I returned to room after a tiring day. The key didn’t work. When I went to reception, they said, “We locked you out because you need to pay the deposit for the extra night”. Thanks so much for communicating.
