I specifically booked here because of the pool, for my toddler who loves water. Although I recieved at least 5 messages before my check in date about the brand new fitness center they omitted any mention about the state of the pool. It was an indoor pool but it was FREEZING, the loungers were broken and the floor grimy and cracked. We did our best but it was just too unbearable, then someone at the front desk suggested that it was under repair and thats why it was so cold but I could not get a straight answer when I asked them about the temperature. False advertising- if your pool is broken say so, dont mislead guests. Further, our first night it was LOUD, the walls and doors are so thin that we heard our loud neighbors still partying until 3am, after driving for 3 hours we were exhausted and wanted to SLEEP. They claimed there was a quiet hour policy after 10PM but despite calling down to reception the noise continued. After an awful first night of barely sleeping, I went down to the reception to complain, they comped our breakfast as a gesture and then I realized all the people behind me in line also had complaints and were getting "vouchers" comped. It was just disappointing and I told them I would not book there again, honestly not worth the nearly $600 we spent for a 3 night stay ...

Even though the property is being remodeled, we enjoyed our stay. I would give it 5 stars if they provided hand soap. I was told by staff that they are doing away with it.

My daughter was bit on her neck I’m gonna say more than likely by a bed bug. The pull out couch was stained with God knows what. I understand that the property is being renovated and updated. So I won’t even rate the pool area.

I really wanted to enjoy this hotel. We booked a double ovcupancy room with queen beds. Beds were definitely not queen size. We also booked a non smoking room, the room smelled of smoke. I couldn't even sit in the seating area because i was having difficultiesbreathing due to tye odor and allergens. The screen door was broken along with the panel in the closet. These were looked at in a decent amt of time. My son thoroughly enjoyed the pool however it was a shame we were unable to comfortably relaxbwithout needing allergy/asthma medications due to the smoke odor and allergens. Ice machines were also not working. Food at the hotel restaurant was mediocre.

The washer and dryer didn’t work and the front desk said they couldn’t help me so I ended up just going to Walmart to get pants for my kids. The bed had hair in it and stains on the sheets. On Expedia it says the hotel offers breakfast but it’s a restaurant you have to pay for. Way over priced for the quality of the room.

People were great and friendly. Always wanting to help. Food was good. The only negative was the wall were thin, meaning you could hear the people in the hall and next room almost like they were sitting next to you.

I check out about 4am we didn't sleep. First of all the customer service is awesome at the hotel. However my experience was terrible with no sleep... the smell of marijuana, the rude behaviors at the swimming pool....the beds were horrible and very small...I booked for a family of 5 and the room was very outdated and broken....when I said broken the toilet seat, wall paper falling...the springs on the bed were felf. The pull out couch had dry white spots thay look like ..... from couples that been there prior...the smell of the room was pure ash trays. I was offered 2 room that were the same condition or worse. I was asked to reach expedia which I did and was told I can get a refund for my stay to just stay put till I recieve an email from the property. I did receive a email in which the property refused to give me a refund. The manager did call me and was very nice. She then offered me 2 rolling bed that were in worse condition then the pull out couch, but my stay was the worse and shame on you guys for not offering back my family and I a refund. Oh the shower was filled of mildew all 3 rooms showed.

The heat was off in our room and it was 36 degrees outside. Maybe turn on the heat when that room is supposed to be occupied. The “lobby area” at check in was under construction but the staff was nice and doing their best.

Lobby is under construction. The hot tub (reason I booked here ) isn’t operational because they are going to reconfigure the pool and remove it . Will never be back .

I resent a copy of your receipt to the email addresses in your hotel profile and the one provided by Expedia. I have opened a ticket with our support team to investigate why you did not automatically receive the email at check-out. I recommend checking your junk or spam folder to the emails as well. Please reach out if you still haven't receive the emails and I will have one mailed to your address on file.

Hot tub was broken. Hotels don't bother fixing them because they can just say they have one then when you get there they say it is being repaired. Pay someone to fix the hot tub.

Not what I wanted
I wanted a little getaway for the kids. So I booked this room because it said it had a kitchen. No kitchen,just a sink. So I had to but food. Also said it had breakfast. I assumed it would be complementary. Nope they had a restaurant that you can pay for breakfast. So I couldn’t cook dinner. I couldn’t cook breakfast and I also had to buy it. The heat couldn’t be above 78. Which means we couldn’t get in the pool because if we came back to the room wet we’d probably catch a cold. We slept in sweats because the suite was so cold. I had a reservation from Friday to Monday. I immediately went somewhere else after 1 night. The front desk was pleasant, room was clean but it’s not what I wanted.

We do provide very specific details for our property to all vendors, and I am so sorry the room details were not properly communicated to you at the time of booking. In good faith we did our very best to empathize and understand your situation and we waived the fee for your second night so you could rebook at a property that met your family’s needs. I hope you were able to get the accommodations you were looking for and had an enjoyable family getaway. Hopefully we will have the opportunity to see you all in the future. It was so many things that went wrong & usually I love staying at DoubleTree hotels. The issues should and could have been resolved properly but we’re not. I was very patient about things initially. Then it just became overwhelming. Especially being moved 3 times into different rooms and then getting into our last room and the tv not phones didn’t work! It was very inconvenient and disappointing. Some of the staff were very nice nonetheless. They kept saying they were sorry but like I told one of the young lady’s who said she was fairly new. I told her it should have been someone available to assist me properly. We even had to ask for towels repeatedly!

The first room we stayed in had a leak from the toilet, and the coffee maker was dirty. We were on a lower floor and we could hear people walking upstairs. We changed rooms after the first night. The second room had a dirty carpet smell. The cleaning was not done after the second night. We enjoyed the indoor pool.
