A soft breeze carries the promise of longer days, while the pellet stove offers a cozy retreat when evenings turn cool. The cabin invites you to slow down, gather, and breathe in the mountain calm.
Sleeping arrangements
The cabin comfortably sleeps up to ten guests across four bedrooms. One bedroom features a double bed. Two bedrooms each include twin-over-queen bunk beds, ideal for families or mixed‑age groups. The fourth bedroom has two twin beds. Bed linens, extra pillows, and blankets are provided for cooler nights.

Guests have access to one newly renovated full bathroom and an additional half bath located upstairs. Bathroom essentials are supplied for convenience.
Kitchen & dining
A fully equipped kitchen provides ample counter space and seating nearby, making it easy to prepare and share meals after a day of exploring. A Smart TV and WiFi support movie nights and video calls, though speeds may vary due to the remote location.
Outdoor living
The large deck, accented with string lighting, offers a scenic spot for morning coffee or evening drinks. A hot tub remains a favorite for unwinding under the open sky, and a fire pit with surrounding seating encourages evenings spent roasting s’mores and sharing stories. The open, grassy backyard includes a children’s play area and space for outdoor games when the weather allows. A BBQ grill is ready for casual al‑fresco meals.
Location
Hummingbird Ridge sits within easy driving distance of the George Washington and Jefferson National Forests, offering scenic hikes and seasonal beauty. The cabin is about twenty minutes from Bryce Resort, where spring brings trail walks, mountain biking, and local dining options.
Perfect for
Families, friends, and small groups seeking a pet‑friendly mountain retreat will find room to spread out, reconnect, and enjoy a quieter pace. Dogs are welcome; cats are not allowed due to allergies. Whether you’re gathered around the pellet stove, soaking in the hot tub on a cool evening, or exploring the surrounding forest, the cabin provides a comfortable base for a Shenandoah Valley escape.
Additional notes
Our cleaning team sweeps the deck, stairs, and walkways before each arrival, but you may still notice leaves, pollen, or other outdoor elements, especially in spring. WiFi is available, though service may occasionally be slower or spotty; we recommend downloading essential content ahead of time.
