«We stayed 1 night, we were passing through (off season). Few guests, all quiet, morning breakfast alright, price was fair. Shower and restrooms adequate with soap and plenty of hot water, towels provided in good condition. The only issue i had was that this lodge was very far from the road, up a gravel road with no guard rails at all. Either it was not disclosed or i didnt find it on the website. Very scary getting up to the lodge after sunset, in the dark, dodging rabbits left and right.»
«Self check in with a staff member on call. Tidy clean cosy rooms, good old school nz ski lodge set up. Good to have a drying room. Not super soundproof, was woken by people in the room next door just talking. There was no breakfast options just tea and coffee. Good location at the end of the main street .»
«The apartment was clean, tidy and had everything we needed, including a fully equipped kitchen, washing machine and dryer. There is a heat pump as well as separate heaters in the bedrooms, so it was nice and cozy. Access was also super easy. I would definitely stay here again on my next visit to Methven.»
«The big thing is hotel rooms were just rooms. No TVs, or private bathrooms. Bathrooms including sinks, toilet and shower are community. However, the price is less than half of a normal hotel room. Great for broke college or young people.»
