Perfekt lokasjon, nydelig strand og flott ute område. Selve deler av hotellet trenger noe vedlikehold. Skulle også ønske de svarte på epost og hentet folk på flyplassen. Maten var god. Skulle ønske jeg fikk et rom lengre velke fra nyttårsfesten som varte til langt på natt da jeg skulle tidlig opp å nå et fly

Very disappointing stay - Needs new management
Very disappointing stay. This hotel has serious management issues. This so called “Spa Hotel” doesn’t have a spa anymore. Thanks for ruining my trip !! Communication is simply awful. Inconsistent replies to emails, no warning guests that dinner one night was an expensive buffet only (no a la carte). It’s okay if they want to have a buffet - just tell your guests about it ! In room equipment doesn’t work. But, I cannot blame the staff. Management has not sufficiently trained them or invested in systems. They have the potential to be a great hotel, with great location and beauty. But I wouldn’t stay there until there is new management with leadership, vision, and capability to achieve that potential. Very disappointed ☹️

During your stay, the SPA staff were all sick and this has disturbed our operations and we failed to communicate same to you. We do propose both buffets and a la carte to our guests and a good value for money price.We apologise for the so said non working equipment and your room has been throughly checked and rectified.We always encourage our guests to share their comments during their stay and we would have been happy to having yours during and needful would have been done for you to enjoy your short stay.We still look forward to welcoming you to serve you still better next time;

The stay was generally nice because of the beach but room too expensive for what it offers . No fridge in the standard room. Too many houseflies on the food at breakfast.

Too old amenities and not clean but nice location
The whole hotel is not worth the price we are paying for it since it looks like the basic infrastructures have not been renovated since more than 3 decades. Plummery is outdated, same for toilets, beds, furniture from dining room. The hotel was as not clean as we could expect from this range of hotel in other country (mosquitos, lizards in the room)... I was not provided a towel on a daily basis. There is a general impression of the whole thing of being neglected. But the place and the view is superb, beach is nice... until the time you see a care tyre with all the metallic part appearing with a wave to hurt you... but superb view and everybody is nice and welcoming

The Golden Tulip was great to stay in while i was in comoros to climb Karthala. The staff were extremely helpful especially considering my terrible French skills. I would not have had a successful trip without their assistance.

Best hotel in Moroni. Our room had a beautiful view of the ocean and our bed was very clean and comfortable. The staff was very friendly and check in service was excellent with complimentary refreshments. I loved the room complete with a refrigerator and instant coffee/tea. This hotel shows some wear and tear on the building (older building versus newer buildings) but they maintained the beach front well picking up trash etc. We were pleased with the snack menu with affordable options for dinner (pizzas and burgers etc). It did take a while to get our main dishes but they were excellent. We really enjoyed the breakfast except the cappuccino was a coffee and milk with no espresso or foam. Keep up the maintenance on the lobby and grounds. We will be back.

Nice location, friendly staff but terrible overall
The view is great!! The staff is friendly, nice and helpful! The beds are comfortable and that’s pretty much all what’s positive. Sadly, The food is ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE!! They run out of ingredients, so chances are that you won’t be able to eat what you order, taste is awful and it is extremely expensive considering the food quality. Also flies are extremely numerous because of poor hygiene probably? Bedrooms are okay, bed is comfortable and feels clean but there is a frequent bad smell coming out of the bathroom because of poor plumbing installations. Public areas are sad, the place is falling apart, the grass is burned, dry and yellow because no one waters it. There are no gardens, there is an atm but frequently runs out of money.

This property is going thru an upgrade very slowly. Alot of the foods were not available, they ran out of beer and wine, the bathrooms need up dating badly. On the other hand, everyone was friendly and helpful, the bed was very comfortable. The rooms could use a chair! With little choices on the island, I think this is a good option. The hotel arranged a tour guide, Jean Claude who was very good.

Séjour compliqué. Bel environnement. Venue pour un week-end prolongé. Salle de bain sale (j'ai pris des photos) urine sur la cuvette des toilettes, pas de Wi-Fi. Piscine vide. Coupure de courant, coupure d'eau. Pas de produit laitier au petit déjeuner sauf le lait froid. Je n'y mettrai plus Jamais les pieds. My stay at the Golden Tulip was very good. The room was very clean and had a sea view. The hotel has a nice beach. The hotel is near the airport and moroni. I'd recommend this hotel.

Too many insects & bugs crawling all over the place, even into the bedrooms. Lamp shades on either side of the doors attract them. Fumigation of the grounds should solve this - just shut down the hotel for a day! Nice, friendly staff - very helpful and amiable. New wing is nicely planned, but some shoddy work/materials. Great sea view though! Will be back

So even fumigation cannot avoid insect as we have natural vegetation. But we use some product at cleaning time and we advise our guest to do not open windows also.
