Hilltop Lake house is ready to create your family memories with lake frontage. Come enjoy our spacious 6-bedroom 4-1/2 bathroom house. We also provide two kitchens upstairs and downstairs. We have endless entertainment, pool table, dart board, air hockey, 2-PAC-Man Arcade machines and cornhole. The outdoor Tiki Bar with swings and lounge area invite you to soak in the tranquil lake views, while lake access ensures you're just moments away from all the water sports and fishing Nettle Lake has to offer. This stunning property is designed for year-round enjoyment.

1st Floor
Kitchen: fully stocked with stove, oven, microwave, crockpot, toaster ,and coffee maker with Keurig maker. Bar top that seats 4.

Dining room: Large table that seats 4

Living room: Large sofa with electric fireplace and a 60inch Smart TV with cable. Office table and chair facing the beautiful lake.

Laundry room: Washer and dryer stocked with detergent. Pantry cabinet

Game room: Pool table (please keep covered when not in use and no drinks or food on pool table) Dart board (plastic tip darts) Classic arcade game (pac man, donkey kong, frogger)

Kids room: Bunk beds, futon, cable TV. ( First floor)

Nettle Lake is a all-sport lake, no horsepower restrictions, no wake rule between the hours of 6pm&10am. From 10am until 6pm there are no speed restrictions for power boaters. Fishing, ice fishing, tubing, jet ski, swimming. (there is no beach).

Eight of us (some couples and some singles) had a great long weekend here in August. The house was very well represented in the listing, very spacious with lots of open areas for everyone. We appreciated having numerous bathrooms but were surprised that only hand soap (at the sink) and body wash (in the tubs) was provided. The listing did say "basic soaps" and did not mention shampoo, but plan to bring your own hair products. The 2nd kitchen upstairs was great for extra fridge storage and became our morning coffee station (as most bedrooms were upstairs). We did all of our cooking at the house, and the kitchen/grill area was very well stocked with cookware/utensils, etc. and there were also basic spices on hand which is helpful when visiting for a short time. One thing to note, the houses in this area of the lake have varying amount of "backyard" and lakefront space. This house has the beautiful firepit that is at the end of the shared doc, but very little space to spread out directly on the lake. This did not bother us at all, as there was plenty of room around the firepit for our group in the evenings and we spent most of our time on the beautiful deck & tiki bar. I only mention it as it may be an issue for guests with kids. We rented a pontoon boat from the company recommended in the listing and that was a lot of fun as well.

This house is beautiful! Our big family stayed a long weekend and had more than enough space for all of us. Seven adults and seven kids ages 5 months to seven!The space was perfect for us! The lake area was a little confusing as there is no “yard” but there is a nice fire pit at the dock! The dock does not have a ladder making it impossible to get in and out of the water for the adults and kids which was a huge downside, we ended up using the neighbors ladder, which has signs saying not to use. We asked a few neighbors but didn’t find the owners of the ladder. Definitely keep this in mind if you plan on wanting to swim at the dock!It wasn’t a problem for us, but the internet isn’t the best, don’t plan on being able to work from there as it’s spotty and if too many people connect it’s slow. The kitchen and bedrooms had everything we needed! The dart board, air hockey, and arcade games were a huge hit! The kayaks were so fun! Lots of time was spent on the deck and even had a local cat come visit the kids! Thanks so much for sharing your place with us!

Schiavone Get Away

Fun summer weekend!

We had a blast having this house for a weekend. Good spots in the dinning area for gathering for board games. Stayed very cool in the hot summer heat. Kitchen was stocked with all the cooking essentials. Host was very responsive and accommodating when messaged.

perfect get away!

Nice housr

We had a great stay for my 12-year-old's birthday weekend. He loved the pool table, air hockey, dart board, and arcade games. The house was comfortable and the bedrooms were nice. We were there in the dead of winter and the lake was frozen over, so we didn’t spend anytime outside, but I'm sure it is lovely in the summer. The house was clean and nicely decorated. We would stay there again.

Nice 2 day getaway

We stayed here for a couple nights during the week in August. Everything was great. We had a fun time using the Kayaks and sitting down by the dock. It’s a small lake but was perfect for the kids to Kayak. The he house was clean and the neighbor we met was very nice. Perfect for a mid week getaway for my wife and kids and another couple and their daughter.

Family Reunion Stay

We had our kids and grandkids all here for a family reunion and LOVED our stay! It is so tranquil and there is so much space in the home and on the property that you can really relax while looking out over the beautiful lake. We definitely plan to come back!

So much fun!

We had a great time and enjoyed the house overall. The TV did not work in the bedroom with the bunk beds but we were outside most of the time anyway so it wasn't a big deal. The coffee maker that was out did not work correctly (I think maybe it needs to be descaled) as the water/ coffee came out in all directions when trying to use the kcup option so we just used the old coffee pot in the cupboard which worked fine. Lastly, there is a pole underwater in the swimming area to the left of the raft/ dock. Luckily, my husband noticed this before the kids jumped in and was able to direct them around it but had he not noticed it, it could have caused some serious injuries had one of the kids jumped on it. Other than the above, we had a great weekend and loved the house! It was so convenient to have the store within walking distance. The washer and dryer is also a great amenity. The furnished sheets and towels also made things really convenient as well. Thanks!

The Swing House

This is our 4th stay! We love the indoor amenities this house offers just in case it rains. The fire pit is beautifully placed on the lake for sunsets! Kayaking in the morning and evening is amazing (the lake is so calm).

Inaccurate advertisement

The property was falsely advertised as lake access When actually, you are crossing other people's property to get to the lake. The grill did not work properly. 3 toilet seats were loose, causing my handicap husband to fall in one of them. The contract stated that hey supplied toilet paper, dish soap laundry soap. We contacted the owner and requested to have more brought. But after 2 days we decided we would purchase it ourselves and not have to make another 20 mile trip to the store. After which they did bring it. One neighbor said they're selling there lake cottage because of the issues with this renter. I am not requesting any type of refund. We did make the best of it. I just thought any future renters should know this.

Family Getaway

The house is beautiful and well maintained. Plenty of space for 8 of us. The pool table was very popular with everyone. We also enjoyed the other games. The only concern we had was what outside grass area we could use. A map showing the section of yard between the house and lake that guests could use would be great. There was a newly built fire pit with half wall and seating in front of the dock for #144 that we enjoyed. The dock was very stable and made it easy to access our rented pontoon. Overall I would highly recommend this rental house for other families.
