Village perché au dessus du lac. Ambiance très calme. La maison est découpée en plusieurs logements. Pas de nuisance sonores et extérieurs propices à la détente et jeux de ballon pour les enfants !

Une jolie vue sur le lac
Logement bien équipé et propre avec une belle vue sur le lac de Côme. Propriétaire du bien être des locataires. Seul bémol l'isolation phonique. Mais nous avons tout de même passé de belles vacances 😎

Great place!
Recommend it to anyone. We had Le Pepere which has 2 bedrooms (one with a double and one with double, overhead single and another single bed, a mezzanine single bed and a bed in the living room. It was great foe the nights we spent there with fantastic views. Parking is 'interesting' and it's relatively difficult to find. Can walk to the nearest restaurant (25 mins) or to the town (35-40 mins). Double it on the way back up the steep hill. The river with its waterfalls and pools is great fun, look out for local snakes (may be venomous) and scorpions (harmless). Way to it from the house is not easy

amazing house
beautiful views, clean and amazing place. Local dipping in the mountain river superb. Owner and cleaner so very helpful and kind when there was an initial problem (not their fault) and went above and beyond to solve it and make amends. Really impressive and will return one day. Make sure you take a dip in the lower falls 'jacuzzi'.

Wir fühlten uns schon beim Anblick des Willkommensgrußes Zuhause. Ruhig gelegene Ferienwohnung, toll ausgestattet, sehr erholsam mit Bergen, Wasserfällen und allem was das Herz begehrt. fantastic view but expensive stay.
We had a good vacation, but we were disappointed with the stay. check-in process was difficult and had to obtain the keys with a code and all meter readings had to be passed on. We did not know beforehand which house we would get. the route to the house is also very dangerous, especially the last part is very steep and you can easily shoot next to the road with a car, my car is even damaged at the bottom. The beds were also of moderate quality when moving the bed creaked every time. All this is price-quality not in proportion.

Peace in nature with a spectacular view
For our first stay on Lake Como, we were so happy to end up in Paolo's lovely property on the northern side of the lake. Prior to our visit, we knew very little about the layout of the towns and geography. Now that we do, we felt the northern, quiet location, elevated above the lakefront was perfect for rest and relaxation with small children, while still being convenient and accessible to all the amenities of the area. The location of the house is quite far (1-2 hours by car) from the hustle, bustle and glamour of the southern villages near Como, which suited us perfectly. If your interests align more with sports and the outdoors, while still being convenient to great restaurants and some of the less well-known and glamorous sights of the Lake region, I highly recommend Paolo's property. We were delighted to find ourselves basically in the forest with a hiking trail and stream just behind the house. The apartment La Papere, which is one of three on the property, was compact but with plenty of room for our family, well equipped and comfortable. The views are stunning from the several large windows and ample terrace looking over the northern end of the lake and river mouths towards Valchiavenna and eventually Switzerland. Paolo was an attentive and responsive host, who provides excellent recommendations and detailed information about all the activities and sights that Lake Como has to offer. In short, we had everything we needed for an excellent first visit and we cannot wait to return and explore the area more.

Ich und mein Partner waren leider nur 4 Tage im Chalet, aber es hat sich gelohnt . Die Wohnung in der der waren war wunderschön. Von der Terrasse und auch aus der Wohnung hat man einen tollen Blick auf s Meer. Hinter dem Haus kommt direkt Wald, so mit hat man wirklich Ruhe und kann sich gut entspannen. Den nächsten Supermarkt erreicht man mit dem Auto in etwa 10 Minuten und kann sich dort mit allem versorgen. Allerdings ist man definitiv auf das Auto angewiesen. Ich fand die Zeit auch wenn sie nur kurz war super und würde das Chalet auf jeden Fall weiterempfehlen ;)

Tolle Wohnung
Sehr sauber gut sanierte Wohnung. Eine Spülmaschine würde das ganze noch ungemein aufwerten. Sehr schön gelegen, wir konnten die Kinder hinter dem Haus frei springen lassen. Die Einfahrt ist super steil, eng und uneben. Mit tief liegendem oder sehr langem Fahrzeug quasi nicht zu machen ohne das Auto zu beschädigen. Insgesamt trotzdem sehr schöne Wohnung!

Un'esperienza da ripetere
Siamo stati alle Papere in due gruppi familiari, ottima organizzazione, facile il contatto col proprietario, tutto prometteva bene, invece le aspettative sono state superate, la posizione è ottimale, la struttura bella ben curata, una ristrutturazione curata nei dettagli che ha reso gli spazi interni della casa accoglienti, e piacevoli da vivere, rifiniture ben superiori a ciò che ci si aspetta in una casa in affitto, cucina ben accessoriata compresa di gel lavapiatti, spugnette e asciugapiatti e tovaglia, e un ottima bottiglia di Nebbiolo, cose non scontate. La zona esterne è perfetta da soli ed in gruppo, le pietre ollari sono comode da usare e hanno una resa eccezionale, abbiamo gustato costolette di agnello e salsicce davanti alla vista del lago dall'alto poi abbiamo fatto una passeggiata al torrente tutti insieme. Stiamo già progettando di tornarci con amici magari affittando anche le altre proprietà. Un grazie a mister Zaza, tutto perfetto!

Memorable stay in beautiful Lake Como
We could not have hoped for a more fantastic stay than we enjoyed at Papere, overlooking Lake Como. The apartment was lovely and the views from the balcony were spectacular. Above all, Paolo was hugely helpful in providing us with useful local information that made our stay even more memorable. Best of all was the walk to the waterfalls and walking in river. We shall definitely be returning here in the future.

Keurig huisje met prachtig uitzicht, steile weg er naartoe
Papere is op de bovenste verdieping van het huisje, met balkon. Om er te komen moet je een flink stuk omhoog rijden met smalle haarspeldbochten, wat mijn oudere ouders, die ook mee waren en met hun eigen auto reden, erg eng vonden. Het was inderdaad wel wennen, maar goed te doen. Je hebt natuurlijk niet voor niks een mooi uitzicht. We waren in totaal met 8 personen en er was voor iedereen voldoende ruimte. Onze jongens konden zich allemaal op hun eigen plekje terugtrekken. Volgens de beschrijving op homeaway was er een wasmachine en een droger, maar die heb ik niet kunnen vinden in het appartement. Ik heb met mijn 71-jarige moeder nog een wandeling gemaakt naar de Torrente, een snelstromend riviertje waar je heen kunt wandelen vanaf het huisje, maar dat was een hele klauterpartij en alleen geschikt als je goed ter been bent. Als je op zoek bent naar rust en natuur is dit een heerlijke plek!

Dear Marloes, thank you for your kind feedback. I am glad you enjoyed your vacations, your really entered the real feeling of Chalet di Cher. I agreed to drive to the house and to walk to the torrent can be not easy for a 71 person. You should know that until 2016 the Cher 90 meters path was only pedestrian and some traditional customer commented that it was good as it was because it created a separation from the roads and the cars. From yesterday we have improved also the parking area to give enough room to 3 cars in the back of the house without using the area for barbeque. The washing machine is shared with he other 3 apartments and is near the passage which connect the small apartment (campanelle) with the others. I hope to see you again in Cher! Paolo

Schönes Haus sehr schwieriger Vermieter
Hallo, Achtung der Vermieter versucht mit allen Mitteln die Kaution einzubehalten. Uns wurde ein defekter Stuhl, Herd Mietausfall von anderen Mietern etc.angeschuldet. sofort bei Ankunft jeden Mangel und Einrichtung prüfen und sofort melden. Schade sonst schöne Unterkunft.

Ruhige Wohnung mit wunderschönem Blick auf den See
Die Ferienwohnung liegt in einem kleinen Bergdorf ca. 300m über dem See. Dadurch hat man einerseits einen großartigen Blick auf den See, zum anderen kann man die Ruhe abseits vom Touristentrubel genießen. Man muss ca. 15 Minuten eine enge Serpentinenstraße hochfahren, um zum Haus zu kommen (oder auch zum Einkaufen, in Montemezzo gibt es nicht mal einen Bäcker). Die letzten 100m zum Haus sind richtig steil (25-30%), aber inzwischen ist der Weg gut befestigt, so dass man mit etwas Bergerfahrung auch ohne Geländewagen bis oben fahren kann. Die Wohnung ist kleiner als wir uns vorgestellt hatten. Bei der Größenangabe ist wohl die sehr große (und sehr schöne) Terrasse voll mit eingerechnet. Trotzdem war es für uns (5 Personen) ok, da wir die meiste Zeit draußen verbracht haben. Die Einrichtung im Haus ist einfach, aber in Ordnung. Die Matratzen waren allerdings sehr alt und durchgelegen. Wichtiger Hinweis für deutsche Feriengäste: Die Ausstattungsinfos zu der Wohnung auf FeWo-Direkt sind z.T. unvollständig oder falsch. Wenn man die gleiche Objektnummer auf Homeaway.com sucht, sieht man z.B. dass es keine Waschmaschine gibt (mit Maus über "..." gehen). Wirklich nervig ist der Check-In-Prozess, bei dem man eine dreiseitige Liste mit dem gesamten Haus-Inventar durchgehen muss, die z.T. auch noch unverständlich übersetzt ist. Hier musste ich ein paar mal Kontakt mit dem Vermieter aufnehmen, der im Gegensatz zum Check-In jedoch sehr unkompliziert und freundlich ist. Trotz der paar Kritikpunkte hatten wir einen sehr schönen Urlaub und würden die Wohnung auch wieder buchen.

Lovely location lovely apartment and quiet
Overall we really enjoyed our stay, from waking up to the view to the quiet nights. Our only negative was we thought the beds were uncomfortable. Poalo was very nice and has a wealth of knowledge about the area and very helpful. While we were there we told him that tv didn't work and he offered to buy a new one. Would stay again and recommend it

-Tolle Wohnung, alles vorhanden was man braucht. -ruhige Lage, sehr schöne Aussicht -Zufahrt mit Auto direkt zur Wohnung auch problemlos möglich. -netter Kontakt zu Vermieter, sofortige Antwort per Mail oder Wahtsapp bei Fragen. -wir kommen bestimmt wieder! (Familie 2 Erwachsene, 4 Kinder)

Fantastisch verblijf met mooi uitzicht in een rustig omgeving. Voor natuur liefhebbers
Het appartement Papere heeft een mooi terras met een prachtig uitzicht op de bergen en een stukje meer. Het is heel rustig in de natuur. Paolo is een zeer communicatieve en attente gast. Het was heel proper en goed ingericht. We hebben er een leuk verblijf gehad met onze 3 kinderen. Het comomeer is prachtig en dat deel van het meer is bijzonder goed om te sporten (zeilen, kite of windsurfing) of gewoon zwemmen. Dank u Paolo voor deze mooie vakantie!

Einfach wunderschön
Wir haben im September die herrliche Aussicht und das gemütlich eingerichtete, saubere Le Papere genossen. Abseits vom touristischen Trubel konnten wir in herrlicher Ruhe mit Blick auf den See entspannen. Bei Fragen und Wünschen waren Paolo und Manuela schnell hilfreich zur Stelle. Wir können dieses Quartier wärmstens empfehlen!
