WePuglia - Sunflower House

  • Sunflower House is a ground floor apartment with a small private outdoor area. The house is outside tha chaos of the downtown of Monopoli. You can find easy parking, supermarkets, bars and restaurants nearby. At about 850 m there are the equipped beach of Lido Pantano, at one kilometer the free beach of Cala Susca and at 1.5 km the central square of Monopoli called Il Borgo and the adjacent oldtown. The apartment is equipped with air conditioning in all rooms and Wi-Fi.

    Sunflower House consists of an entrance living room equipped with dining table, large sofa, a kitchen with sink, induction plates, oven and fridge, a double bedroom, a twin bedroom with bunk bed and a bathroom with large shower box and washing machine. There is also a small outdoor area with outdoor table with chairs and umbrella.

    Sunflower House is far 52 km from the Bari Airport, 71 km from the Brindisi Airport. The city equipped beach of Lido Pantano is far 850 m, while the free beaches of Cala Susca and Calette del Clio are far around 1 km from the accomodation, the ones of Capitolo (hamlet of Monopoli) are far 8 km, while the ones of Savelletri (hamlet of Fasano) 18 km. The apartment is far 7 km from Polignano a Mare, 18 km from the caves of Castellana Grotte, 22 km from Alberobello, 40 km from Ostuni, 30 km from Locorotondo, 35 km from Cisternino, 37 km from Martina Franca, 81 km from Matera and 111 Km from Lecce. Our staff will be happy to host you and help you in organizing your unforgettable holiday.

    On the online Check-In form you would to digitally sign a rental contract (as provided by art. 1 comma 4, Italian Law n. 431/1998). Moreover, 48h before the Check-In there will be also the payment of the tourist tax for the municipality of Monopoli, equal to 2€ per day for each person over 12. The pre-authorization of the security deposit will also be processed at the same time.

    Check-in will be self; it is essential to carefully read the entry procedure and follow all instructions to gain access to the property. Once those procedures are done, you will send a video selfie confirming your presence at the property. Then we will provide the code to access the property. If any steps are missing in the procedure an in-person check-in will be required with a penalty of €50 will be applied.

    Guests are required to comply with the local waste sorting schedule, which will be provided and explained after the arrival. Failure to follow the disposal rules will result in a €50 penalty.

    This short term rental is managed by WePuglia Srl with a representation mandate.

    To ensure a more informed travel experience, we inform you that the price you see on the booking portal includes the owner's rental fee and the cost of any additional services we provide. These amounts will be detailed in the rental agreement.

    Check-Out: before 10am

Puglia - a wonderful discovery

In May 2024, we rented a holiday flat in Monopoli for 2 weeks. The tour operator WePuglia was our contact right from the start. Communication with WePuglia was efficient, clear, customer-orientated and very pleasant at all times. We felt very well looked after at every stage. The holiday flat we rented on the edge of the historic centre of Monopoli also left nothing to be desired. Any suggestions for improvement on our part were taken up with interest by the staff responsible for us. In our opinion, the services offered by WePuglia, such as transfers, bike hire and excursions, are in the upper price segment. There is still room for improvement in this respect. As a tour operator, WePuglia is committed to marketing Apulia as an aspiring and rewarding holiday destination. In order to achieve this, we believe that the following points should be reconsidered: The cycle paths in both the towns and the countryside should definitely be expanded. Without these structural measures, cycling is simply too dangerous in various respects. Historic centres must be consistently car- and motorcycle-free in order to ensure the safety of pedestrians and the preservation of architectural landmarks. On the whole, we were very satisfied with WePuglia as a local tour operator. We will keep Apulia in our best memories!
