Just 4 minutes from the coast, Sky View Apartment is close to the pretty resort of Capitolo, famous for its long stretches of sand and lidos that, by night, turn into exclusive clubs directly on the beach. This first-floor apartment for 4 is in an elegant, contemporary residence. It is the ideal base for friends or family looking for an exciting beach holiday, combined with excellent food and fascinating history.

The owners have taken great care with the stylish decor and comfortable furnishings. The apartment has wooden floors throughout and attractive neutral textiles create a relaxing environment. The rooms open off a central hallway. In the living room, there is a large designer sofa and a Smart TV. Down the hallway is the spacious, airy kitchen. This room is furnished with a sofa, an elegant oak dining table and a newly fitted kitchen. The kitchen is well-equipped with an induction hob, oven, dishwasher, Nespresso coffee machine and fridge.

Going up to the second floor guests have access to the large terrace with a panoramic sea view. The roof terrace has sun loungers and comfortable seating where, on summer evenings, guests can watch a film with a video projection. There is also an outdoor dining area on the terrace for memorable meals al fresco.

Bedroom: This light-filled bedroom has a double bed, wardrobe, a laptop-friendly workspace and a private balcony, which is ideal for morning coffee.
Extra: The sofa in the dining area converts into a comfortable double bed.

Bathroom
The bathroom is opposite the bedroom and the living room. It is appointed with a large shower, basin, bidet and a WC.

Location
The apartment is 10 minutes from the centre of Monopoli, one of Italy’s hidden gems. Known for its lively bars and nightlife, the town’s cathedral and the Castello di Carlo are also worth visiting. For self-catering Monopoli’s vibrant, weekly market (Tuesday and Saturday mornings from 7.30am) is the best place to pick up delicious local produce to cook at home.

Alberobello, (25 minutes) is a UNESCO World Heritage Site, as well as one of the centres of Italy’s Slow Food Movement. The town is a must-see. It is famous for its traditional Trulli houses and excellent restaurants.
All along this stretch of coast, visitors will find some of Italy’s most beautiful beaches. North of Monopoli is Polignano a Mare (15 minutes) which offers excellent snorkelling in its clear waters.

For history lovers, the archaeological museum at Egnazi (9 minutes) offers a fascinating glimpse into Puglia’s complicated past.

The closest airport is at Bari, a 50-minute drive from the apartment.
