Besøk og familie
Skulle besøke kjæresten til min sønn. Vi fikk to rom som var store. Enkelt hotell men god frokost og hyggelig betjening. Ligger meget sentralt og du må finne parkering selv i gata eller parkering et par 100m unna.

Really good value - the description is no-frills but that doesn't do it justice. Really comfortable, clean, centrally located, friendly staff and wonderful cooked breakfast. Highly recommend.

Brilliant accommodation
Stayed at Ashleigh B&B overnight as we were at a family wedding in the area. Very clean & comfortable accommodation, ideal for our stay in Monaghan. Friendly efficient staff, lovely breakfast. Highly recommend if in the area. On street parking available just outside the guest house and a larger parkng area available nearby which charges €1 per day.

Superb stay in Monaghan.
Used Ashleigh House as a base for exploring the county and a wedding at Castle Leslie. They couldn't do enough for us and were super friendly. Also recommend Sherry's opposite for a pint of the black stuff!

Trudi is an excellent hostess. We were given a warm welcome and the room was modern & the beds provided us with a brilliant nights rest. Breakfast would easily compete with any hotel that we’ve stayed in prior. Ashleigh house felt like a home away from home and we will definitely be coming back again in the future. Thanks for having us Trudi.

Amazing B B with full Irish breakfast! Super hosts and the most comfortable bed on our monthlong trip to Europe. Highly recommended to other travellers. Safe area with quaint shops all around.

We found the facility very relaxing fit for purpose, clean and easy to access. Food was nice and well presented. Facility was very central to the town.

Martin Monaghan the owner was an excellent host.Lovely room lovely Irish breakfast and Monaghan town was a one minute walk away.The town is full of nice pubs and restaurants an amazing place for a weekend.

We had a lovely overnight stay in Ashleigh House; there is a nice outside area wee we were able to sit before going out in the evening. We were then able to enjoy the US Open Ladies Tennis Final in the lounge on our return that evening.

Could not be better!
Amazing service and so friendly from start to finish. Made feel at home and a proper irish B&B experience. I was having a procedure at the hospital on my departure morning and couldn’t eat beforehand as I was fasting. The lovely staff were kind enough to suggest I call when I was out of my procedure and they had breakfast prepared for me before getting the bus back to Dublin. You don’t get this kind of treatment anywhere any more. This is the definition of above and beyond.

A nice and fairly typical Guest House/B&B establishment. Friendly staff. My room was at the top of the house (Third floor) so there were a few stairs to climb. The room was well equipped and comfortable. beware of the parking. The house has no parking of it's own. You park either on the street or at the bottom of the street in the car park. No problem with either location. A warning is that the street the house is on is a one way down the hill. Google maps kept trying to tell me to go up the road!!!

The entrance hall was so welcoming and had been decorated up so nicely for a Christmas. We were after a long travel day and check in was very quick. Our room was very inviting with comfortable beds and lots of space. The shower was super. Martin made a delicious breakfast the following morning and himself and his wife were lovely hosts and made us feel most welcome. Our stay was short but I would stay there again.

I found this a great place to stay. Room was an ideal size with ensuite facilities. The owners were very friendly and helpful and always around if needed. Breakfast (typical Irish grill of bacon, sausages, toast, etc.) was hot and delicious. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay there and definitely recommend it to others. The guest house is also ideally located in the center of town.

Excellent Bed and Breakfast in Monaghan

Lovely B&B In Monaghan, Ireland
This was a nice, clean B&B in downtown Monaghan, Ireland. Members of our family have stayed there on 6 different occasions. The breakfast is excellent and the owners are lovely people. When we visit Monaghan it is to visit family and the location is perfect for doing that. During this trip we traveled by bus. The B&B was close to the bus station and convenient for folks to pick us up. We would definately stay there again.

Overall very good for the price. But, as I was paying the bill, looking into the room where my breakfast had just been prepared, I saw a cat sitting on a sofa. This is a big turn-off for me. Animals are not for kitchens! This would put me off returning here.
