Nice hotel with great service
Hotel Hermitage is a nice hotel in central Monaco (Monte Carlo). This is a large hotel consisting of several buildings and easy to get lost (I did). The Crystal Bar (outside terrace) is excellent with a great view of the harbour. The traffic noise may be an issue.

Very elegant hotel with wonderful service. We went off season so many of the restaurants weren't open, but we liked to have a bite on the sundeck near the pool area. It is in a central location and overall was a very memorable weekend for my daughter and I.

Nice location, and a prestigious time-honored hotel. The historic splendor is a bit fading, though. What is slightly substandard is the bathroom amenities. The only more serious disappointment was the quality of the breakfast buffet - fairly mediocre. On the positive side, the personnel was, without exception, top.

Gorgeous hotel with views
I enjoyed my stay. The hotel was beautiful. My room had a view of the harbor from both balconies. I want to thank Marcel at the front desk for giving me a tour of the property when I checked in. The restaurant Pavyllion was amazing. The only improvement that can be made is the bathrooms need a little renovation/upgrade. Housekeeping was the best, discreet and quiet. No commotion in the hallway, which is excellent.

Opulence and Comfort in Monte Carlo
We weren't sure where to stay in Monaco as we had never been to the area, but after looking into options and reading the great reviews we opted for Hotel Hermitage. We could not have been more pleased. The hotel is absolutely stunning - with its breathtaking architecture and opulent decor. Our room was spacious, comfortable, elegant, and remarkably quiet. The bathroom was beautiful, clean, and well-appointed. The lovely patio was a wonderful place to relax on chaise lounges. The location is perfect as we were steps away from the famous Monte Carlo casino, tons of shopping and eating options, and the beautiful marina with all of the yachts. I used the spa, which was quite busy but beautiful and modern. We also ate at the Michelin-starred restaurant Pavyllon and had one of the best meals we have had in recent years with perhaps the best views we have ever had at a restaurant. I highly recommend the hotel!

Very helpful staff like Alicia at the front desk and a person with eyeglasses at the bell captain desk across from the registration desk (did not get the name). Both went above and beyond and all were polite. The front doormen were not always helpful when we asked for a cab or missed the shuttle- it wasn’t their problem. The room was nicely adorned and updated and was very clean. Cleaning staff were pleasant and meticulous. Breakfast in the room was not what was expected eg fruit platter consisted of a unripe big nectarine and a ripe kiwi, both whole on a bread plate! Overall a nice hotel, nice staff for the most part. A little conveyer belt feeling.
