«Location is perfect. The back garden is a slice of heaven on a hot day, as it’s sheltered (from the daily beach wind) and quiet. On weekends/holidays the beach out front is very busy. The staff are absolutely over-the-top helpful. The ice cream store next door is a bonus!!»

«Meget bra hotell og service. Eneste var at de kjente ikke til at skulle være noe ekstra i forbindelse med Hotels.com VIP eller noe gave… Hotellets gourmet restaurant nådde ikke mål. Hummeren var i hel kokt og bisque smakte ingenting. Min sønn hadde indrefilet som var god bortsett fra at pommes frites var rå inni. Ellers var det et meget fint opphold med flere restauranter og spesielt en pizzarestaurant i bakgården.»

Room was a little “quirky”, especially the shower behind the bed, not in the bathroom! Noticed that boutique hotels often have eccentricities😀. Everything very clean.»

«Beautiful classic decor with Smeg fridge and coffee machine etc but the coffee machine in the room cannot be used as no capsules provided. The tap in the room was noisy and the floor was dirty on the day we arrived. The hotel is along a narrow road and not easy to find parking nearby. Staff are nice bit not always at reception. Buffet breakfast is only continental - eggs are not available.»

«many things, the room manual with places to eat and historical locations to visit. The shower was so nice and LARGE. Nice to be able to turn around and not bump into the control handle, or bend over to wash your toes. The bed was very comfortable. The Air Conditioner actually works. Plus we did not hear any of the other guests during the night, but we know new guests arrived and departed during our stay. Also great location, easy to walk to the City Center, or take a bus to any part of the city. ...

The bed was super uncomfortable and would sink during the night which would be our only complaint. I think if the mattress was changed it would be 5 stars. «This is not a hotel. It is a group of rooms, each with an ensuite, that share a common lobby. They have provided everything you need. It's impeccably clean and has a ton of charm. A little tattered walls/paint but not a big deal. Wonderful staff! You have to take the stairs up and then take the lift. Once you leave the lift, you have to go down a flight of stairs again.
