There are many local hiking trails nearby the house, some folks suggest the North Crestone Trailhead, Willow Lake is a great day hike, and the Creekside trails along the greenbelts in the Baca Grande Subdivision are spectacular and lush. The Challenger Views on Ridgecrest is a great place for outdoor enthusiasts and folks looking for a peaceful mountain getaway.
Crestone, Colorado is in the middle of the San Luis Valley. There is very limited public transportation in the area. We recommend Four Wheel Drive, or at least- All Wheel Drive if you are looking to come and stay during the Winter Season.

We love our local thrift stores, so many hidden treasures can be found!
