You can tell that there was great effort put into making this hotel luxurious. And, the look of it fits the luxury aspect very well. However, there are several functional items that take away from that luxury aspect.
The walk in shower configuration causes a lot of water to make it outside of the shower. The slope of the shower may be a bit shallow, but more particularly the door opening out and away from the non-adjustable shower spray allows water to get out of the shower when you open the door.
Also, the water heater for the shower did not work and the only way to access the handle is by being in the stream of the water. Checking to see if the water is warm then requires the door to be open….which increases the puddle on the floor outside of the shower.
The split system hvac unit is a little confusing for the average person to operate. It also takes quite a long time to actually warm up the space. And, the condenser unit seems to be mounted above ceiling and seems to have no sound dampening. The entire room shakes like a helicopter is taking off directly above us when the unit is running.
The barn door for the bathroom is a poor choice for privacy. There are gaps on the sides of the door and it rolls toward the open position slightly when in what is supposed to be the fully closed position.
