«Aranwa looks like it has been a fantastic hotel, but it isn't anymore. The premises are fantastic, but not well maintained. Food was absolutely terrible, we almost couldn't eat it. Breakfast was also terrible. And this is quite shocking since all the other food we god in Peru has been amazing. The location in the Sacred Valley is nice but not a must. For going to Machu Picchu I would consider staying in Aguas Calientes instead. And the WiFi didn't work. »

«Overall, the hotel was okay considering the price. However, the beds were very hard, and the room was far too small for three people. There was hardly any space to store clothes, and it was not even possible to fully open a suitcase on the floor. The room was also very noisy, and there was a window above the door that let in a lot of light from the hallway, which disturbed our sleep. The breakfast was simple but very good.»

«This was a lovely place to stay after completing the Salkantay trek! The owners even stayed up late as our train was delayed. Breakfast was delicious, rooms were clean and cozy - Would recommend to everyone! »

«Beautiful place. We stayed in one of the family bungalows. It was perfect for our family of 4. Nice and clean. The staff were above and beyond friendly and helpful. The only down side was the distance from town. Had to take a 20 minute shuttle or taxi to get around. The resident alpacas were a nice touch.»

«Veldig god service fra alle ansatte. Alle går virkelig inn for å møte alle ønsker man har. Eks. Servitøren i restauranten fikk kokken til å lage en mindre posjon av grønnsaksuppen, slik at vi kunne kombinere den med en annen rett for 1 pris. :-) veldig behjelpelige med turer/transport (også til Machu Picchu). Hotellet ligger ca 30 min med bil fra Aguas Callientes (hvor toget går til Machu Picchu), men taxien koster nesten ingenting (100 sol) så det gjør ingenting at man ikke bor i Aguas ...

«The staff were amazing. I had altitude sickness and one of the owners quickly provided me with water and cocoa tea. The owners have a baby there and it felt very family friendly. He was very cute. My room had a great comfortable bed and the shower was great. There is the sound of running water as it is by a river but i found it calming to sleep to. Amazing place, would stay here 10/10!»

«We booked this hotel as it was a higher end luxury hotel and hence didn’t mind paying twice as much as the other hotels in the Sacred Valley. The gardens were beautiful and the exterior is cool, staff was friendly, nice big comfy bed and the dinner food was tasty.
Drawbacks were that it didn’t really feel as nice as we expected for the price. It’s quite old (not in a charming way), the cold water suddenly cut while showering scolding me, the toilet stopped flushing (no, we didn’t clog it :p), ...
