Signs were clearly marked, and the route on Google currently directs guests the correct way around construction. We are sorry for the inconvenience, but did our best to work with you. Hi Elizabeth - thank you for the review! We hope your son joins us in Missoula as a future UM Grizzly! We are literally the closest place you can stay to the University, with it being just across the Van Buren St. walking bridge from us. For any future guest, we do our best to indicate the "view" of each room, these are "Mountain" and "River". These are default categories provided by Expedia, which only allows us to describe our rooms buy checking boxes to indicate the differences. So if you would like a river view room, you will need to be sure that is listed on the room you are booking! We also send you a confirmation email that will include a link to your "guest portal" and this link will have photos of the room you have booked as well, so you can also confirm that way you have booked the room you want! And, if you are still unsure, please feel free to call us!

Thank you for review! Our hose was built in 1911, and then cut in half and moved to it's current location in 1989. We've undergone extensive renovations through the years, with the last major remodel completed in 2021.

I think this is actually a great review, because it allows us to help clarify what we do for future guests! We are a vacation-rental type property (not a bed and breakfast as we used to be). As we do not live on site or have a front desk, we have implemented a self-check in process for our guests' convenience (so be sure you check your email for the door codes!). We do, however, live just 5 minutes away, and include our contact info in all our communications. We explicitly say "reach out to us," and hope that our guests feel comfortable doing so. All in all, I'm glad Clifford shared that our place is extremely private and quiet, and while we may not greet guests personally, you can be assured we have personally overseen every aspect that went in to your stay.
