This newly remodeled home offers 3 Bedrooms which includes a Bunk Room for the kids, 2 baths plus an outdoor shower, an open-concept living/kitchen/dining area, tons of parking and so much more. This neighborhood will remind you of the classic "Old Florida Charm" that's so hard to find today. Book today to make the memories you'll cherish tomorrow!

    Unique Property Features:
    ~ PRIVATE beach access. Guests & Owners of small neighborhood are the only people who will be on your beach.
    ~ Open space around home. There is a private neighborhood park extending from the front yard and a pond extending from the back yard.
    ~ Large shaded outdoor space. The gulf breeze blows through this shaded space making it a great place to spend time.

    Here at Modern Beach Vacation Rentals, we strive for perfection with our attention to detail and level of customer service that no other group in town will match. We hope you choose this property, as we'll do all we can to make sure you have an amazing and memorable vacation!

    POOL HEAT
    A $50.00 per day fee is added to reservations booked between October 1st - April 30th for pool and hot tub heat. If you prefer an unheated pool and hot tub, contact us after booking and the fees will be refunded.

    PLEASE NOTE: Pools cannot be heated if it is below 52 degrees. We will do our best to keep you informed of the forecast during your stay and refund you if conditions do not allow for this. Pool and Hot Tub heat is not available May 1 - October 1. Jets/Bubblers are still available.

    You will find everything you need in the property to make the most of your time on the Emerald Coast. We offer a starter kit of premium, eco-friendly guest amenities including: Shampoo, Conditioner, Body and Face Soap, Toilet Paper, Facial Tissues, Dish Soap, Dishwasher Pods, Laundry Detergent, Paper Towels, Trash Bags, Dish Sponge, Bath Towels, and Bed linens.

End of Summer Beach trip

Great spot! Beautiful home with large pool and plenty of room for dining outside. Easy walk to private access beach. Property management was easy to reach and made the stay even more enjoyable!

The house and location were perfect! The house was very clean. The kitchen had everything we needed. It is about a 5 minute walk to a private beach that was not crowded. The provided beach chairs were perfect for the location and could be worn as a backpack with storage pockets for our things. Our kids loved the pool and the putting green. We would definitely stay here again!

Perfect spot for our family vacation

The house was wonderful! It was perfect for our family and our stay. We have always stayed in condos and after this vacation we may never stay anywhere but a house! Kitchen was stocked with everything we needed to cook. The walk to the beach was really short. House was clean and decorated very well. Will definitely try to book this house again on future trips!

Family Vacation

Ryan is a great host. He is attentive to any needs. The beach house is clean beds are comfy . Sand toys and beach towels were supplied which was awesome. Amazing!

This house is absolutely perfect- beautiful and charming, so comfortable and spacious. Outdoor space is abundant, the deck, under the house as well as a little green park right out the front door. Neighborhood is small and quiet and the beach is right there. My family did not want to leave!!

The neighborhoods private beach was an unexpected blessing. No waking up early to claim a spot. Amazing!

Beautiful home, fantastic location. Private beach access was worth everything. Having our own pool was the cherry on top. First time visiting the area, usually go further south down the gulf, we will definitely be back. Followed several facebook groups to get an understanding of shopping, restaurants and things to do. Fantastic Home, Great Location!

We spent a week at this home over Spring Break and had a wonderful time. The house was wonderful! Very clean and comfortable. It was just a short walk to the private beach for the community. There were many restaurants and shops close by, while Destin is only a 20 minute drive away. Our favorite feature by far was the pool and hot tub! They were both phenomenal! Communicating with the host was a breeze. They were extremely responsive before, during, and after our stay. We highly recommend this property for anyone looking for a Florida panhandle vacation!

Great Vacation

This is a beautiful home with a gorgeous pool with easy access to the private beach without having to cross a street to get there. The location is great because you are near shopping and restaurants, yet you feel miles away from it all once you pull into the small neighborhood. The front porch and the patio area under the house were a favorite of ours. Beautiful view of the ocean and the small park from the porch, and a beautiful view of the pool from the downstairs patio. The house is also beautifully decorated with lots of extra touches. Also, easy communication with Donna was excellent and appreciated. Thank you for a great stay!

Beautiful Property, had everything

The house is exactly as pictured. The beds & pillows were COMFY, plenty of space for everyone and all activities. The kitchen is one of the best vacay kitchens I've ever seen (and I've seen a lot!): spices, bowls, pans, utensils, etc were amazing. Plenty of towels (beach & bath), laundry space is great too. The private beach is SUPERB - large crowds everywhere except on this little patch of paradise. Pool wasn't quite ready to use for us but it looks wonderful. If you're on the fence about this property... GO FOR IT.

Amazing beach house!

We loved our stay at Old Florida Charm! The private beach and private pool were simply amazing. Our kids loved the put put area and the downstairs area by the pool was so nice to have, we ate many of our dinners outside. The outdoor shower was so nice to have after beach time. The private beach was amazing and never crowded. Took about 2 minutes to walk to the beach, was not far at all I honestly think its quicker than being in a busy condo waiting for an elevator to get downstairs. The neighborhood was so quiet and quaint and very close to shopping and restaurants. We felt very safe at this house. The property owners are top notch, never had rental management so in contact and friendly. 10/10 recommend.

Annual Fall Beach Trip

Everything was as described in ads except the heat for the pool was not yet available. Very clean and free of clutter. It was nice to have a few extra things that most rentals do not provide, like extra trash bags, a condiment cabinet stocked with basic products. And lots of beach/pool toys and chairs to use.

September 14-21

We had a wonderful time staying here again this year. We loved the new landscaping in the yard and the addition of the new chairs by the pool. The only things we weren’t so excited about were the bedding and towels. They were the exact same ones as last year and are becoming a little worn. The house was clean and the kitchen was well stocked. We appreciated the spices for sure! I would love to see the golf cart included with the rental. The price was too high for a cart that only has access to the neighborhood. Other than those small things, we love the house and will probably be back next year.

The Owners thought of everything!

I know this review may seem long, but I want to be sure I leave my review as detailed as I can because I know the importance of a good review since I look to Reviews before I choose and book my vacation home. We just enjoyed a week at Old Florida Charm and the home was even better than described. From kitchen appliances, utensils, dishes and pots and pans, to comfy beds with fresh white linens, plenty of both bathroom and beach towels, to extra fans in every room, to beach chairs and boogie boards, and to a very short 2 minute walk out your front door to the beautiful white sand private beach, this home did NOT disappoint. This home made you feel “at home”. Additionally, I have to add what another reviewer mentioned, they even have a great kitchen knife set! which is not the case in many of the rentals I have previously stayed in. My two favorite things about this home were the cleanliness and the proximity to the beach. The host, Ryan, was great and reached out to confirm all was good from day 1. We will definitely be back and will recommend this home to friends and family when they plan a trip to Destin/Miramar Beach.

Graduation Vacation

We booked this vacation for my 18 y/o son’s high school graduation. We also incorporated my other son’s former graduation, since it was the midst of COVID 2020 when he graduated. Our party consisted of a few 18 y/o’s, 21 y/o’s and the two old fart parents, all who traveled from Las Vegas. We enjoyed sipping morning coffee and evening vino on the wrap around deck. The house was spacious and in a location that felt very safe. I think the teens left the front door unlocked accidentally a few nights. The beach is literally a few steps away, with beautiful white sand beaches. The private beach access was great, since we walked a quarter mile west and the beaches there were flooded with people. Our piece of paradise was not crowded and there was no issues sitting completely beachside. The only bummer was that the pool was not available for another few weeks, but we knew that when we booked it. The kitchen was stocked with plates, cups, utensils, gadgets and spices. It was only missing martini glasses. Our family had a great trip! The house was one of my favorite parts! It is only about 4 miles from the main Destin tourism.

Arrived to a Filthy & Unsanitary Home – Would Not RecommendOur stay at this property was unacceptable. Upon arrival, the house was filthy and clearly not prepared for guests. There were party decorations left behind from prior visitors, and drink and food stains and splatter covered the kitchen and dining walls. Both bathrooms had visible mold, mildew, and dirty rugs. There was also feces smeared on the bathroom door and light switch. The home smelled strongly of cigarette smoke despite being listed as non-smoking.The beds were unhygienic, with unwashed mattress covers, thin worn sheets, and stained pillows. Floorboards, doors, and baseboards were coated in grime, showing long-term neglect. When I contacted the property management company immediately after arrival, they only communicated by message and offered to send the same cleaning crew back, but the home was not in a condition suitable for my family. I had to clean it myself to make it livable and safe from unsanitary conditions.I documented everything with photos and videos. The management company offered only a partial refund of the cleaning fee, even though the property was clearly not cleaned before our stay. This was very disappointing, as the listing did not reflect the property’s true condition. For the comfort and wellbeing of future guests, I recommend looking elsewhere until these issues are properly resolved.
