«Our experience at the Historic District B&B was incredible! The B&B has been beautifully restored and has a rich history. Our room and the common areas were wonderful, and the fully stocked coffee/snack bar got a lot of visits... But what makes the B&B extra-special is the host (and breakfast chef) Kevin! «Beautiful place our family and friends loved and the hospitality was like no other!! We had a barbecue on our first night and it was a awesome patio with a huge Blackstone that we grilled our steaks and Brats on they had everything we needed to feed our group!! They also had a bonfire pit that my husband was excited to light up it was so cozy!! Thanks Paul and Deb for everything we really enjoyed it and would recommend this beautiful getaway to everyone!!»

«This place was perfect for a quick stay before our trip in the Boundary Waters. My only issues were, it would be nice to know ahead of time that this place shares a bathroom with the whole house rather than being a private bathroom with the room. Some more info about checking in would also be nice ahead of time, we showed up to the place with no information on what door to go, where the room was etcetera.The folks running the Inn were super friendly and helpful! I would definitely stay there ...

"The downtown area is a bit dodgy at night and there’s not much around the hotel in terms of food or shopping. Looked forward to using the pool area but it was not in great shape. The kiosk in the lobby charges extortionate prices. I paid 9 dollars for a bottle of ice tea. Probably not coming back. "
