The bedrooms were spacious, the beds were comfortable, house is lovely and in a good, safe neighborhood. Maybe one more easy chair (or another small love seat) in the living area upstairs would allow for more seating as we enjoyed being upstairs so we were close to the kitchen. Easy to get to shopping and restaurants. For a house that sleeps 12, the kitchen needs to have more silverware and dishes (especially bowls for soup) that would cover that many people. Wash cloths and maybe a couple of extra towels in the bathrooms would be nice to have on hand.

It speaks for itself that we chose to stay a second time at this Vrbo in Minnetonka. The rooms are quite comfortable, clean and spacious and the setting overlooking the wetlands is idyllic. The location gave us easy access to whatever direction we were taking for the days activities. Our host was available for the couple questions we had. The Heavenly Home in Minnetonka suited our needs well.

The house was clean and comfortable and suited our needs well. We used the house for our son & daughter in law’s wedding day prep. There was plenty of space to accommodate the bride and her attendants upstairs for hair and makeup and the groom and his attendants in the lower level where it was convenient to make breakfast sandwiches in the patio grill. Beds were comfortable. Nice quiet neighborhood with a great location.

The location of the house is awesome and the house would have been wonderful but we had severe water leaks during our stay. The owner was unable to get anyone out to address the leaks during our stay so we were forced to deal with walking through steady drips from the doorways on 2 bedrooms, The main hallway and dripping through to the downstairs as well. The carpets in 2 bedrooms were soaked and the wood floor warping. We remediated with towels and buckets as best we could, but that resulted in us having to constantly swap out towels, run laundry, and avoid two of the 4 bedrooms. It was obvious there was previous water damage in the house as in numerous places the paint had been touched up or walls patched where there was significant water. Given its location in a marshy area- I’d be very concerned with mold for any vulnerable guests. While we had extensive water issues- they let us know there was another guest checking in at 4pm of our checkout. Not leaving enough time to fix or address any of the issues we experienced. We were staying for the days leading up to our wedding so we didn’t have an option to pack up and move- I’ve been trying to work with the host and VRBO since the stay and they haven’t been reasonable with trying to make it right or provide a discount for the time we spent caring for their property.This house could be great, but I fear the owner is sweeping these water issues under the rug and isn’t offering a safe stay.

Comfortable and clean home in good location relative to the sailing regatta we came for. The kitchen supplies were a little sparse, necessitating us to purchase some things, and the bedroom would have benefited from a dresser or more hangers.

This is a beautiful house in a serene, peaceful neighborhood close to amenities. It was the perfect rental for our large group to decompress while we put on a wedding at a nearby venue for my son. We especially enjoyed the wildlife in the area.

Beautiful home in a quiet neighborhood.

Very clean and comfortable. Nice kitchen. Two levels that each have a great living room. Deck was peaceful to sit on. Plan on staying here next time we are back in the area.

The 3 star review is based on the recommended review rating of the host as “had a few issues”. The space is very nice and the neighborhood is beautiful. However, the house needs work: the screen door and the upstairs shower handle were both broken. The power in the kitchen and bathroom stopped working and the GFCI had to be fixed, so one of us had to stay home for the electrician and move the food out of the fridge to the one downstairs. The downstairs toilet was leaking and we stayed home for that to be fixed too. After all that we saw the ceiling of the laundry room was leaking as well - we told the plumber while he was there but that would have been a larger fix so we dealt with it. Finally, the batteries of the fire alarms had been taken out. This didn’t affect us, but I could see this being a safety issue. On the plus side, the water is hot, shower pressure great, and the beds are very comfortable. Location was perfect for us, and the host responded fairly quickly about the issues above! I expect that it’ll be a better experience with the things above being fixed!

Lovely home

Home was clean, spacious and very comfortable. Neighborhood was very quiet, including the wild turkys and deer that came to visit us daily. Easy access to highways. I would recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable place to stay in the Minnesota area.

Perfect location for impromptu trip

I needed a Vrbo rental for a funeral this past week. This location was ideal and the bedrooms were able to accommodate the three families for a few days just fine. There were thermostats for both floors to adjust the temperature. We were able to get the upstairs to an ideal temperature for everyone, but the basement was a bit cooler. I will caveat that with the temperatures outside being in the negatives. Overall the beds were very comfortable and we had enough space to talk and the kids had space to play.

Gathering of friends

We so enjoyed our stay in this nicely remodeled and spacious home; there were windows all around to let in light and allowed us to enjoy the beautiful views of the wetlands and the charming neighborhood. The neighbors were friendly and the setting was calm and peaceful. We even saw a buck walking down the street. One evening we had dinner on the deck and the next day enjoyed watching the rain and snow. Our friend from California loved it. There was plenty of room for all of us to gather or have our own space. As we cooked our meals together we had an issue with the disposal and the host was able to come in short order and fix it. The location was close to fun shopping, great places for lunch and a 20+ minute drive to the airport. All in all a good place for a gathering of friends.
