We chose this hotel primarily due to location near the airport, the airport shuttle, and the advertised $5 per day for parking. Not being from the area I did not realize that this was different from “park and fly”, and was shamed by the front desk attendant when we arrived since this is apparently I should not have expected to be able to leave my car there after taking the shuttle to the airport, which was not actually an option. However, they had a sheet ready for me to sign in order to leave my car there for $10 per day, because apparently this is in fact an option, even though I was just told it was not, they just wanted to charge a higher rate for it. It was quite the bait and switch. The front desk staff expressed that the hotel ought to stop booking through Expedia, which was not a particularly welcoming sentiment while trying to check in having prepaid through Expedia. We provided our return flight info and we were assured there would be a return shuttle available, though no info was provided on how to contact the shuttle or where to meet it. When we returned a few days later, I called the front desk the request our return ride but was told the shuttle was not actually running that day. Fortunately the person working that day was much more hospitable and quickly offered a solution in the form of an Uber ride back at no additional cost. I do not plan to ever stay here again though I did appreciate that staff member’s gracious assistance.
