Absolutely not. Do not pass go; do not spend your money. It was an immediate abort mission for me.
There’s a $100 CASH deposit due at check-in. Before you can even get out of the entryway and into the lobby, there’s a window with an opening at the bottom just big enough to slide papers under. What type of clientele are there that you can’t check in face to face…?
When I went to my room, I always check the bed for bugs. The comforter had to be a decade old with a cigarette burn hole (in a nonsmoking room). The fabric was “pilling.” One of the pillows was stuffed with the kind of stuffing you put in a stuffed animal or couch pillow. Pillowcases were so thin they were practically nonexistent. I booked two nights and considered going to Walmart to buy my own dang bedding, but the room also had a weird smell like stale incense, so I opted to leave.
I immediately went to the desk for my deposit (had to just eat the cost of the two nights). I was there all of 5 mins and somebody still had to go check the room to make sure I didn’t cause any damage (there’s nothing I could do to make it worse). This was at 9:30p and they didn’t even ask me why I was leaving. The receptionist gal was nice and there were two men standing behind her. Nobody asked what was wrong or if they could fix anything…must be a common occurrence and they already know why.
I booked Cambria nearby and would highly recommend (though definitely pricier).
