Located just steps from the beautiful Toccoa River. This new luxury 1,600 square foot cabin is located on a level lot with lots of river birch trees, spacious open floor plan for family gatherings, large family room with vaulted ceiling, beautiful fireplace with gas logs and large TV mounted above the fireplace. Two bedrooms with king sized beds and a loft with 2 queen size beds. Eat- in kitchen with bar stools for casual eating or the dining room table your choice. 1,020 square feet of outside covered living space with table, hot tub and gas bar-b-q are on the open deck all facing the beautiful Toccoa river. A fire pit offers great atmosphere for outside evening gatherings. This property is located just off a paved road with easy access year round, level lot with abundant parking. Riverfront swing, stone steps that give easy access into the river for kayaking, tubing and fishing. If you enjoy trout fishing, Fannin County is the Trout Capital of GA. If you enjoy kayaking or tubing it's all located just out your back door. This cabin is located 6 miles from Blue Ridge, GA where you can ride the scenic train, 6 miles to McCaysville, TN and less than 20 miles from the Oconee River where you can ride world class olympic rapids. Also, this cabin is located approximateley 20 miles from Harrah's casino in Murphy NC. There are year round activities.

This was the second time we stayed at this cabin. That in itself should be a good indicator as to how much we enjoy this cabin. You can read my more detailed review from Dec 2024. The cabin is fantastic, newer construction, well stocked for a VRBO and Gabe is everything we need to make our 10-day stay feel like home. To add to the experience, Michelle is an absolute pleasure to work with and very responsive to any questions. I would highly recommend this cabin to anyone considering.

Fantastic location and cabin

Cabin is beautiful and well stocked. We all had more than enough space, things to do and places to enjoy nature at this location. The kitchen and bathrooms were very clean and well stocked.

Great Week

We had an amazing stay. Our kids loved the hot tub and kayaking down the river. We cooked hotdogs on the fire pit and made smores. Had a great birthday dinner for my wife as well. Would definitely stay here again.

Thanksgiving on the River…

My wife and I spent 10 days in this cabin and I would highly recommend it. The cabin is a newer construction (less than 10 years old). The drive up was very easy compared some of the cabins we have stayed at in the past with steep inclines/ declines and hairpin turns. None of those on this drive up. The cabin is on roughly a 1 acre lot, so you do see your neighbors on either side. The Toccoa river is right off your backyard deck. the Blue ridge scenic train goes by on the other side of the river, but stops running by the late afternoon. The cabin has everything you need for your stay with linens, pots, pans, cookware, silverware, glasses, etc. the kitchen has a k-cup coffee maker and some other basic appliances (can opener, toaster, crockpot, etc.). The the cabin has a split bedroom plan with bedrooms on opposite ends of the cabin. The 2 bedrooms are located on the first floor and almost identical to each other. There is also a loft with 2 beds. Each bedroom has their own bathroom with with shower (1 has tub/ shower combo). WiFi is available for your mobile devices as cell coverage is not very strong in this location for T-Mobile or Verizon. Ingles supermarket is only a 15-minute drive for you to stock up on food and supplies. Lastly, the owner Michelle is extremely responsive and helpful with communication. For all these reasons, I would highly recommend this cabin to anyone considering, and one we will save for future trips.

Family Weekend

Amazing place to stay ... Plenty of space for our adult kids and grandkids.. Comfy beds.. Very nice kitchen ... River outback kept us entertained ..Very short drive to plenty of things to do .... Easy to reach owner.. Would for sure book again

Birthday long weekend getaway vacation

We enjoyed a peaceful and relaxing long weekend vacation at this beautiful (and well provisioned) cabin on the river. The majority of our time was spent drinking coffee on the back porch watching the river (on Sat there were a lot of kayakers). It was easy to get to town when we wanted to. In the evening we would watch the deer in the front yard (way off to the side by the edge of the woods). There was also an owl hunting that was pretty cool to see. Then as it got darker the fire flies came out and they were really cool. This cabin was beautiful and comfortable. Everything worked as it should. You would not be disappointed booking this place. There were only 3 of us; so we did not use the beds in the loft so I cannot attest to whether they are comfortable or not.

Great Location, Beautiful Setting, Perfect for Tubing

We loved our stay on the Toccoa River. The house was so clean and had every provision. We loved being able to go tubing directly from the property. We all enjoyed the beautiful, natural setting for playing corn hole, looking for wildlife, making s'mores at the firepit and just watching the river. We would love to come back and highly recommend. Michelle, our host, was exceptionally responsive.

Perfect getaway spot

This place was amazing. Mother is 86 and had no issues getting down to the water to be with great grandchildren as they enjoyed the water. This home is stocked with plenty of towels and kitchen is a plus! We will definitely be back. My 2 grandsons and I kayaked down Toccoa and it was an exciting ride. Thanks to our host for making checking in and out extremely efficient. Pear tree in front of house fed a lot of deer. We counted ten one afternoon. Sat up badminton in front yard so plenty of room.

Get away to chill

Get away with friends for 4 days. House looks just like pictures, beds and couch were very comfortable. Location was very nice and peaceful. Owner was very responsive and great to work with. Only complaint, the fish weren't biting!! Would definitely go back again!

Perfect getaway. House was amazing, host was fast to respond and very pleasant to work with. Having your own little space on the fiver to trout fish was priceless. Highly recommend staying. Very close to Blue Ridge downtown shops.

River Paradise

What a wonderful experience we enjoyed at this cabin location. The road into the cabin is paved all the way and is very easily navigated. The cabin had very comfortable beds and furniture. Loved the sectional and the fact it had reclining sections which is so hard to find. The owner truly made sure all furniture was comfortable and inviting. The kitchen was amazing and had all of the necessities plus plentiful and wonderful dishes and silverware . Was pleased to see there were closets and hangers for your clothes which is hard to find in a lot of cabins we have stayed in the past. The fireplace was easy to operate - just used once when the night got a little chilly for us south GA folks. The river was moving a little swiftly but still managed to catch a few fish. Didn’t fish alot as our main mission was to go to festivals and visit nearby towns. The cabin is centrally located and makes for easy travel to neighboring towns. Short distance to Blairsville , Hiawassee and about an hour to Helen for the Oktoberfest festival. The owner was a very easy to communicate with and was very helpful in answering any questions we had. We liked the fact that there is a security system as we have one ourselves so it didn’t bother us at all. We now have found our go to location on the river after staying in so many cabins through the years. Finally found one that checks all the boxes for us. Cannot forget to mention the back porch it was so nice and had great seating areas and plenty of rocking chairs. Great view of the river and we were able to watch kayakers, geese, a beaver and also enjoyed a few deer that came out later at night. Thanks Michelle for sharing your cabin and allowing us to enjoy it. Can’t wait to return in the spring.

We really enjoyed our time at the cabin. It was clean! Very relaxing and a great location. We will definitely be back! My son and husband really enjoyed being able to fish out back on the Toccoa River.

Lovely Toccoa River Cabin in Mineral Bluff

Lovely cabin directly on the river. Lots of wildlife daily from Canadian Geese with their goslings, to three beavers with a home across the river and a groundhog that can be viewed while sitting on the great wooden rocking chairs on the deck. Close proximity to Blue Ridge, restaurants and activities. We rented Kayaks from Blue Ridge Mountain Kayaks and stopped off at the cabin which is approx 2/3rds into the trip, for a quick bite and then continued on, nice! It was also great to be able to fish on the river, just steps from the cabin. The cabin seems newly built and was well-stocked in the kitchen, only thing missing was wine glasses. Wi-Fi was decent, which is always a challenge in the area, and Dish TV with lots of channels is provided. The beds were very comfortable, though the sheets need to be upgraded, as well as the towels. The sectional couch was quite comfy too. FYI - there are cameras for security in the front and back porch, so one has to be comfortable knowing you can be under surveillance while hanging out on the back porch. Aside from being uneasy about the back porch Ring camera, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this lovely cabin.
