«From the moment we arrived, we felt we were at a magical hotel that was so warm and cozy. Staff are wonderful and very helpful. Our room was really nice and we enjoyed staying there. The room had dishware to use and you get a daily refresh. (No seafood allowed.) Breakfast is in a very cozy dining room. We would have preferred it open earlier but it is worth waiting for. «Pros: beautiful historic building, friendly wait staff, reasonably priced and tasty breakfast, relaxing atmosphere in bar with pleasant live music Wednesday evenings, cozy fireplaces in the lobby and beautiful library. Cons: although a known issue on check in, the fact there was no hot water in our room wasn’t disclosed. We were only staying one night. The spa area was luxurious with massaging jets in hot tub, steam sauna, and cold water rinse bucket! My daughter loved the pickle ball courts. Every interaction with staff was gracious and helpful.
