We had an 'okay' stay. Nothing incredible, room was no nicer than a regular hotel but it was twice the price. The property was nice and well kept though. Unfortunately amenities that were advertised in their suite as included were not, like a mini fridge/coffee pot. Addressed this with staff and sadly nothing was done to remedy the situation causing all of our Amish meats/cheeses to be inedible costing us over $100 in losses. Because of this we had no cheeses or meats to bring back from our visit like we do each year. The room was nice and spacious, the bed was comfortable and large enough. The Wi-Fi connection was the worst we have ever experienced in any hotel/Inn/B&B in Amish country. It was cold and rainy while we were there so we were looking forward to watching some of our favorite TV series' on a tablet we brought, but we continuously lost wifi signal and the movie selection was okay but nothing great. All in all our stay was okay, just not what we expected or wanted.

Perfect weekend getaway
What a perfect place to recharge for the weekend! 1.5 miles of hiking to scenic overlooks, a fantastic restaurant, and a few miles from Berlin! HIGHLY recommend.

I liked how quiet and secluded the property is. The area is picturesque. Front desk was friendly. The sheep and the hiking trails were nice. The room was a bit lacking, not much different than a standard hotel room. I expected there would be more things to do in the hotel. I had an image of it being more of a destination. I would really have liked to get one of the honeycomb rooms, but they were all sold out. Also, we weren't even able to have dinner there. You have to make reservations - and I feel like reservations should come with the room. Or at least give you the option when booking.

I love the mix of modern and rustic in a wooded setting. I will definitely return again. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. I loved the room and the furnishings.

Hidden Gem
The moment the Inn's extended portico comes into view, leading us into our favorite woodland retreat, the stress of city-life melts away! The hours that follow are steeped in nature, great food, and cozy comfort. While lounging in the well-appointed Standard Room, I prefer wearing the comfy robe supplied by the Inn. When not doing that, we like having drinks on the patio before dinner. Dinner at Tarragon, as always was spectacular! Every course superb! Our waiter, Gabe, guided us through the evening and answered all questions. Morning brought us back to Tarragon. We had coffee as classical music played in the background. It's always hard to choose what to order since every breakfast item is tempting. The entire stay was a true getaway. The staff is pleasant and helpful, and the Inn always clean, quiet and peaceful. We'll be back again soon...

Nice Getaway!!
Last minute trip with my husband. Beautiful area. Very peaceful. Room was large with a very comfortable king size bed. Everything in the room was meant to make your stay comfortable. Food was outstanding. Staff was very helpful and pleasant. Outside fire on Saturday night was lovely. Would definitely stay here again. If you are looking for a quiet relaxing getaway with great food and staff this is the place.

We loved our stay at Honey Run! It was such a peaceful experience. There was so much to do between the walking trails, feeding the sheep, Tarragon, and visiting the nearby Amish spots. We felt entirely relaxed and can’t wait to come back!

Extremely peaceful and calm atmosphere. The room was lovely and we enjoyed watching the birds at the birdfeeder from our bedroom window. We go there again!

We arrived late (9pm or so) and found that I had booked the next weekend instead of the weekend we arrived. The desk clerk was very helpful in getting us straightened out and getting us a room at Honey Run!

It was nice . Our main complaint is that every where we walked to on the property the chairs and benches were very soiled with grime and bird doo. The outdoor chairs by the front were really dirty. It was disappointing to not be able to sit outside and enjoy the space.

Unhappy with the Superior Room
Please note that the description of the Superior Room on hotels.com is incorrect. It promises "over-sized corner windows to make you feel as if you are fully immersed in nature". However our room did not have a corner window, just one of their regular windows. The room also felt a bit dated, slightly old carpet, dinged furniture, bathroom fixtures from the 80s. The ground are nice though, as well as the restaurant. I booked a stay at the Inn at Honey Run for a romantic weekend getaway, the first time my wife and I could be away from our kids in a half year. I upgraded to the superior room because the description

Landscaping outside my room window allowed for privacy and relaxation. I rearranged my room furniture for a writing table to be next to this area. My room was a 3-piece bathroom no tub didn't think to ask No wine service on Sundays in the Dining room Bottle of wine is offered in room for a price Dining experience A delicious gourmet selections available as well as classic americana with a twist of personality. Service was great very attentive. Walking trails picaresque. This was my private retreat I accomplished all I wanted to in this short adventure.
