Cheerful Cabin with Mountain View & Hot Tub

Relax with the whole family at this peaceful spot. This cozy cabin sleeps 6 and is tucked between the woods and an apple orchard. Come explore a babbling brook, a salamander creek & trails, or relax on the deck or in the hot tub. Conveniently located minutes from Lake Lure and the Tryon International Equestrian Center, the Bluestar cabin is the picture-perfect place to stay in between leaf-peeping, antiquing, rock climbing, mountain biking, or kayaking at any of the nearby towns and parks.
The space
The cabin sleeps 6; there is a bedroom with a queen bed, a loft with a queen bed, and twin bunk beds in the hallway. Wake up to the sun rising through the woods. Enjoy coffee or espresso while you cook breakfast in the fully equipped kitchen. Eat out on the deck or at the dinette table. Feel free to enjoy our trails; the access point is marked with signage. After lunch stroll through the orchard and help yourself to apples, and after dinner relax in the 7-person hot tub while you watch the sun set over the mountains! We have provided games and puzzles if it’s more your style; everything you need for a cabin getaway is here!
Guest access
You will have use of the entire cabin and access to our portion of the orchard (boundaries are marked with tape). You may also explore the forest behind the cabin; the trailhead is marked with a sign.
Other things to note:
There is no internet or tv here. Cell coverage is good if you have Verizon but spotty with other companies. We hope you look forward to unplugging for your stay!

Country feel cabin close to Lake Lure

We loved the comfort and feel of being in the country and close to Lake Lure and Chimney Rock State Park. I enjoyed hanging out in the hammocks and the kids enjoyed playing cards and hanging out in the loft.

Loved my solo trip!

The cabin is cozy and has everything I needed, inside and out. The fire pit and hot tub were great additions. The wifi was just a Verizon MiFi so I wouldn’t expect anything too great, but it’s supposed to be a getaway anyway! I definitely enjoyed my stay

Great stay!

We had a peaceful stay at the cabin, even having two young children with us. The cabin's proximity to the grocery store in Lake Lure was convenient. The cabin is on a private road with some camping neighbors. I enjoyed spending time on the veranda, and the coffee provided was a lovely addition. Although we didn't use the hot tub. Firewood was provided and it was very thoughtful. The hosts were communicative and friendly throughout our stay. Overall, it was a pleasant experience.

Perfect for our short getaway!

Such a nice stay, very clean and well kept! The hot tub was wonderful with a view of the mountains to enjoy! The kitchen was very well stocked, and we were able to make dinner with no problems. Firewood was also provided, which was great! It was too windy to make a fire during our stay, but the option was great 👍 thank you!

Quiet and very nice little cabin

We loved the little cabin, was very clean and just prefect for my husband & i for an overnight stay. We lived the hot tub and sitting out on the porch under the cabana! The owner were very nice and easy to communicate as well. We hope to come back soon for a longer stay!

Awesome place to stay!

My family and I enjoyed our stay at this cabin very much. We liked that the cabin was cute and cozy and that the property was near the woods. The towels, pillows, beds, pots and pans, and all the furnishings were very good quality. The beds were comfortable. The loft was cute and warm. It was beautiful to see the sunrise and sunset on the mountains. The property was peaceful and quiet and the host was friendly. I am very glad we chose to stay here. 100% satisfied.

AMAZING!

This was my first VRBO that I ever booked so I was beyond nervous but once we arrived and seen that BEAUTIFUL view and the cute fully stocked cabin my worries went away. We had an unforgettable weekend here & Laura communicated from the second we checked in. We can’t wait to return and enjoy more of the cute town of lake lure. Mountain Get Away

Me and my boyfriend stayed here for a wedding at Glassy Mountain Chapel and it was the best decision! We really enjoyed it all! The privacy, the hot tub, the front porch, the long gravel driveway and the upstairs loft. The host was super sweet and prompt on responding. Can't wait to bring our kids back :) 10/10

The place was adorable! Very clean. Smelled new. Towels, bedding, and kitchenware was nice - not old and overused. GPS didn’t lead us straight there. It stopped at the driveway right before it so that was a little scary. Lol The hot tub was awesome. We all enjoyed it

Amazing stay!

The photos don’t do this cabin justice! It has amazing views, the cabana over the patio was something that wasn’t in the photos so it must have been new and that MADE it for us! It rained one night we were there and was able to sit outside under the metal cabana while it rained! The home was very new and modern styled but it was so cozy and warming! We stay at so many cabins every year during this time but this has been the best one! We recommend it fully and want to be back next season!!

Cozy Romantic Weekend

We thoroughly enjoyed everything about this cabin! It was just as pictured in the listing (or maybe even better!). It was super clean and cozy and had everything we needed. Our favorite part was enjoying the hot tub in the evenings under the stars. It was perfect for our romantic anniversary weekend. Close to Lake Lure, Chimney Rock, and Columbus. We would not hesitate to stay here again!

Anniversary weekend

My boyfriend & I absolutely loved our stay here for our anniversary weekend. It was the perfect spot, so clean and well kept! The hot tub was phenomenal. Such a beautiful place and so peaceful. It is a very convenient location, about five minutes from town. Highly recommend, we would love to come back! Also the owners are very good at communicating and getting back to you within a reasonable time.
