«Two families staying together for father's day weekend and we had a really lovely time. The house was great with a surprisingly well-equipped kitchen and the host was super helpful and the instructions were all clear. Beach was a short walk away and the neighborhood is nice as could be. Thumbs up, do recommend.»

«My friends and I decided at the last minute to do a week-end at the beach. This place and was open and suited our needs as far as sleep accommodations, dogs allowed and walkable to the/a beach - especially one that allows dogs. Really glad it was available! We had a great trip and also enjoyed the Broadkill store and weekend donuts! If you need a little more excitement, Lewes, Henlopen, and Rehoboth/Dewey are not too far away.»

«Great little cottage for short stroll (50m) onto the beach to relax, listen to the waves, and then kick back and enjoy the sunset with all the amenities needed for a home cooked meal! Complete with Grill, outdoor shower and screened in porch to watch the sunset.»

«Great stay in this Rehoboth Beach Cottage. New comfortable beds and cold AC downstairs. Upstairs rooms with 5 twin beds was warmer but a portable A/C and fan helped a lot. Maybe bring an additional fan. Cleanliness in a few areas could be better and the cottage is showing some wear. Old coffee filter was moldy, dirty wet laundry was in wash and not started, dishes were wet and not put up. Minor things. Book needs updating of local contact, but message via VRBO worked great and was responded to ...

«This property was just what we needed. As described, it is a rustic cottage. For the price, you cannot beat the location. It is just mere steps from the beach. The house was clean inside, and the furniture was super comfy. I do suggest bringing bug spray. The mosquitos were thick, but that is what you get when you are surrounded by water and we were prepared. Overall, we had a great stay and would stay there again.»

«Loved this little cottage by the bay…very clean had everything we needed and the fenced in yards were great for our dogs! We found shells, seaglass on the beach and were able to drive to Rehobeth, Dewey and Lewes for day trips. Very quiet neighborhood. Lisa»

«Steps from the beach, which we had to ourselves all week! Could listen to the waves from the porch and felt like you were the only one around - so peaceful! Was a short drive from many fun breweries, small towns, and great spots to eat. The place itself was immaculate and had everything you could possibly need! Perfect for a relaxing family getaway to Delaware!»

«I've been to Broadkill Beach several times, staying in different homes each visit. We were traveling this time to see the spawning of the horseshoe crabs that takes place in the spring, timing the trip during the full moon in May. (And we're not disappointed -- lots right on the beach that night, and more to see at the DuPont Nature Center on the way home.) «My daughter, dogs and I spent a week in May at this cute cottage on Broadkill Beach. The house was clean and nicely set up. The screened in front porch is bigger than it appears and was perfect for hanging out. The fenced backyard was a godsend for the dogs. Although the cottage can theoretically sleep 8, I wouldn’t recommend it as the living area is very small and the one bathroom is tiny. My only (minor) complaint was that the outside shower wasn’t turned on during our stay. It would have been ...

«Grandma’s Cottage was exactly what we needed ! It was very quiet, with many nice hiking trails, fishing spots, stores & restaurants just a short drive away. The cottage was so clean & comfortable, with a beautiful lake setting. Everything we needed and more was provided. Helen & TJ were great hosts & take great pride in maintaining Grandma’s Cottage.
