«Amazing, quite unique, hotel floating in the middle of a lake with snow capped mountains in the backdrop, picture perfect. BUT that's it. There's really nothing else to do here, as you rely on food SOLEly provided by the hotel and there's no other external sources for food being so remote and the portions are small so pack some snacks, instant noodles. Aims for some fine dining vibe, but the quality is sub-par, may be due to meals being included in the price. The food alone would convince you ...

«I’d read a few poor reviews of the Derwent Bridge Chalets & Accommodation, and they turned out to be totally unfounded. We stayed in a Narcissus Studio and it was very comfortable. I didn’t expect the room to have a microwave and toaster (they weren’t specified) so we were able to make breakfast. Great location for Lake St Clair. Only downside - there was no WiFi. But 4G signal was fine.»
