«This was a short-notice trip to Queenstown. I arrived after the official reception closing time, the gentleman who owns the motel was still waiting for me to arrive before closing down for the night. The service and facilities were excellent. I felt welcome. There is a restaurant at the motel, I did not try it due to my schedule. The motel is located in a residential area within walking distance of Queenstown city center.»

«What an amazing location. Lovely clean, comfortable room. Nice view from the balcony of the bush and a dam with a platypus in it! You can also see wombats and wallabies walking past. Loved the fake gas fire in the room which kept it very warm. You do have to walk outside from your cabin to breakfast. The buffet breakfast could have more variety. The Highland restaurant was great though. Having no wifi, mobile reception or tv in the rooms gave us a complete break away. »

«We were married here in 2015 and return regularly. It is a truely unique place, away from it all out in the beautiful Tasmanian rainforest. A place to relax, get in touch with nature, escape the hustle and bustle and recharge. The accommodation is clean and comfortable, if a little outdated. The king beds could use an upgrade ie. make them a king, not two singles joined in the middle. But the cabins are warm, light filled and surrounded by the rainforest. We stayed as a family, 2 kids under 5, ...
