«Room was nice and clean hot tub felt like the seats were slippery with a film on them I started a fire to heat the water up anyway one of the workers added wood and brought some over that was nice. We were a little weirded out. No check in the restaurant/building in the front were in shambles. I called the number key was just left in the door. «Cant say enough amazing things about my stay at Mad River Lodge! The inn-keeper Dana was so kind and gave ideas for activities in the area and helped me get to my wedding when we had no ideas on how to get there. The whole experience was so personable, and I loved the shared space with a chess board, games, tea, and coffee!»
«We happened to be there during the week between weddings so had the place mostly to ourselves. Lovely farm setting with vegetable gardens and chickens and pigs to wander among. There was a lovely watercolor painting exhibit in barn. Extensive trail system right behind the fields. Manager Stacy was very gracious and helpful. Breakfast cooked to order, delicious. Very peaceful setting.»
