The main falls in rock island state park are a site to see. They stretch a few hundred feet wide! Slowly cascading down a side of a rock faced wall. It is a short but tenuous hike to see the falls. But, they are some of the best you can see in the south east. Maybe not the tallest or most water flowing, but it is a beautiful, slow, and pooling fall. As an added bonus the river it flows into is controlled by a dam, so you can at times get up to the waterfall, and at other times raft the river which I'm guessing is a class 3-4. A friend of mine has rafted it from the northern most spot to put in to the falls, and he said it was technical, he's done it a few times now.

«The place was very very clean and comfortable! We really enjoyed our stay! Host was super responsive when needed to get the wifi password sorted. Only about a 10 min uber ride to Broadway. Our only complaint which has nothing to do with the actual quality of the space is just the noise level of the train that runs behind the building during all hours of the night & morning too haha. It was quite loud and woke us up a few times »

«Stayed here for Pilgrimage Festival so that we could be closer to Nashville when we weren’t at the festival and location was great. Easy access for the short ride to Franklin being on the south part of Nashville and a short ride or walk to things to do in Nashville.
